Travelling from Switzerland to Venice we needed to take a break and get a meal... Purely by chance we hit on Lomazzo.. And after driving around in circles looking for a restaurant we decided to park... When we got out on to the street we saw a sign on the other side of the railway line... " from break to dinner" Well we walked around and into the nicest and best restaurant we visited in Italy during our short stay and eating in Padua, Venice and Bologna. The food was delicious and the pizza was the best by far...Service was excellent and the recommended wine, Santa Christina, not pricy, also the

It is hard being anywhere when you don`t speak the language very well, which is why with my stuttering Italian I was pleasantly surprised that the waiter immediately started speaking English to me...I was there with my partner and we both asked for the set menu (My first time eating at a Greek Restaurant so I didn`t know what else to order) we were given a list of things which we thought we had to choose from and were pleasantly surprised to find that the set menu included a sample dish of every item on the list...The Anti-pasti were plentiful and delicious then we were brought a platter with samples of the main courses...We were further surprised to find the price included a jug of wine, sweet and coffee...The staff were always friendly and courteous even though they were clearly busy and it is no surprise that they are busy with such good food...

we tried out the pizza one evening by accident. It was the only place open basically. We were definitely pleasantly surprised. Pizza very good and prices acceptable. They even had an apple crumble cake....they served it cold with no scoop of ice cream though :( We will definitely be going back.

We have looked at this restaurant for some time and happily finally got there. The waitress, who I assume is the owner, is very informative and rightly clearly proud of her menu. We started with lardo with chestnuts and honey and a bacala/potato plate. Both were delicious. For primi we had a gnocchi cooked with a delicious cheese and a pasta again both were faultless and for a secondi I had tartar which was again presented well and most enjoyable. I wish the website was better as I could do the dishes more justice with their correct names and ingredients. The restaurant was full and I suspect it often is as and there is a young man assisting the owner who should be empowered to do a little more perhaps taking responsibility for desserts and coffees allowing her to spend more time with the tables who are ordering.A very nice dinner in a very nice restaurant with jazz in the background, we will undoubtedly return.....Not a place to take young children!

Lunch on a Sunday. The place is very tastefully designed with a lot of little eye-candies here and there. Service is highly professional. The noodles with cacao combined with thin slices of octopus are out of this world. The assortment of crude fish tartar is amazing and top quality. Salad with warm lobster underneath and raviolis stuffed with mushrooms: delicious. The Vanesso (a special breed of beef) and the Patenegra cotelette are almost too much. Great place to enjoy a classy experience. We'll be back for sure.

We came to the restaurant tonight for dinner, we decided on pizza. It was very good and we will definitely come back to try the restaurant. Only thing I found strange was the fact that you could call in your pizza order and then come pick it up for take-away but when I asked for pizza takeout menu they said that I couldn't have one to take home. There are a lot of pizzas on the menu but how can I remember all of them if I'm at home and calling in my order. I think it would be a bit strange And time-consuming for them to sit there and read off the entire menu to me while I try to decide what pizza to order. Probably typical Italian logic. The Decor was very cozy but the tables are a bit close together so it's difficult to have a private conversation. The area dedicated to pizzeria is actually in the basement and the windows are painted on the wall. I think it could be a bit depressing eating in an area where there is no natural light. Overall, the service was very quick the pizza was good and abundant and we had a good time. The prices were very well contained for what you were given.

Romantic place for lovers, family and kids food with love
We had dinner here during our stopover before continuing further south! Itâs a really cute place, with lots of little lights on the terrace. All three of us had pastaâs and they were delicious! Very tasty (especially the one with safran and pancetta). The lady that owns the place came over a couple of times and we had a chat with her. Sheâs lovely!Dearest Cloë RThank you for your nice wordsWe wish you that this beautiful sun will fill your days with joy and many beautiful thingsPlease come and visit us again!CiaoViva la vita CeciliaPizzeria ColibrìCadoragoComo

It was probably the rain or perhaps a slow Sunday night, but the food was amazing. The service impeccable and they spoke English, understood what exactly was desired from them.Great value for money and and the Prawn Pasta is something to write home about. Highly recommend the same.Dear Vids05, thank you for the excellent review. For us it was a pleasure to read that your experience in our restaurant has left a so nice memory. We hope to see you again! I first reviewed this restaurant in Oct 14, and have now returned again.La Rotanda, with it's "compact" menu, is not the most economical establishment to dine in, but what they produce is excellent, thus making it good value. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and as well as the menu there are sometimes daily specials. Our group enjoyed a variety of meals, all nicely served.Well done Rotonda and I hope to visit you again, soon.As a price indication, for a mixed dinner for five with wine and water came to â¬158.
