This was the finest food and best service I've experienced in a long, long time, and that comes after nearly three decades of traveling the world on business. Food was excellent--"pillows" hot and beautifully cooked, antipasta wonderful with many different dishes, pasta course excellent, second course the same. Light but delicious desserts. Staff speaks virtually no English, but tried very hard, and successfully, to explain options and help with choices. The price--at least to us Americans--was astonishingly reasonable. Olive oil was the best I've ever had, and wine excellent. My wife's lamb was a bit too thin but tasty, my beef filet perfectly sized and cooked. It was so difficult to find--small road to right of very large abandoned hangar-like building--that we nearly gave up, but didn't, and glad we didn't.

This was the second time we had been here for lunch with our tango friends. We were impressed the first time and not disappointed the second. Buzzy restaurant serving good home cooking but what sets it apart is the wonderful view. Good service and reasonable prices. Must book, especially on Sunday lunchtimes. Good to combine with either the salami museum or wine museum nearby

Torneremo sicuramente, ci siamo trovati proprio bene.Il personale è disponibile e competente.Locale consigliato

We were hungry at lunch but didnât want a heavy, complicated ristorante type A-Z meal. Since we were in the neighborhood we found RPMLL. What a treat! Foccacia to start, with a cipolla topping. Excellent salad, fantastic pizza: perfect crust, exceptional sauce, highest quality mozzarella... fine quality olive oil and tasty balsamic vinegar... chased down with local Lambrusco. Topped off with lemoncello and an unbelievable cherry liquor which we were informed was 42% alcohol. The interior is a bit tacky. Donât let that put you off. Hungry? Go! Closed Mondays.

A pleasant surprise for such a rural stand alone trattoria. Good selection of pasta, primi, and secondi. Wine list has some good value selections and the staff was very friendly. No one spoke English or did they have an English menu, so if you don't know at least how to read Italian or at least fake it. This may not we your choice. They were very accommodating, but you may get a surprise if you just point at something and don't know what it is (they won't be able to explain).

After visiting the castle our group enjoyed the superb local cuisine in the Castle restaurant. We had a set meal which featured the deicious fried bread ..but donât be alarmed this is a tasty fluffed up bread that is the perfect accompaniment to the mouth watering local hard cheese. The food and wine was plentiful, tasty and efficiently served. The perfect end to the castle visit. Coffee was served in the bar after the meal and added to the experience.

Our landlord recommended the ristorante and so we went. Our navi found it but er didn't believe our navi and drove by the house. Then we drove onto a courtyard and still didn't believe there was a restaurant. Some people on the courtyard nodded to us and pointed up some stairs towards an unmarked door. We went through the door and walked into a very nice and clean ristorante. The portions are big, the quality very good and the dishes are local. Grandma is the person behind the pasta fatta en casa. The wine list is long and I very much doubt there is one mediocre wine on the list: even the cheaper, open wines are great. We enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere very much.

This is a charming lunch spot for adults- salads, top shelf prociutto, salumi, and cheeses. Kids won't be happy. Ran into a lot of tourists. Excellent wine selection, international food market is a source of wonder and entertainment. Don't miss browsing the shelves! I wouldn't make it a first dinner choice due to the cold/ deli nature of the fare. Owner Andreas is a charming source of local color, however the wait staff are ready to retire (consistent with previous reviews).
