This place was perfectly located on our walk back from the Vatican to Piazza Navona. We saw the good reviews and it did not disappoint! The hardest part was choosing which of the Paniniâs to have, such a great and interesting list of choices! Both of ours were delicious and great value for money in a popular location! 10/10 would recommend you making your way here when in Rome!

We went today there and the food was absolutely amazing! I had some pasta with clams (10 euro) and my boyfriend lasagna (8 euro). They were both on the menu of the day and it was the best choice we could have made. And then, we got an extraordinary tiramisu (I have no words to describe it - I do not usually eat tiramisu, but this one... I could not stop ). I think we are going back for sure. They also have very good artizanal beer (5 euro). A must try!

It's been about 5 days since our lunch at Rione XIV, but I am still thinking about their incredible tonnarelli cacio e pepe. Creamy and bursting with flavour, with perfectly cooked noodles, and not using the old restaurant trick of too much salt and/or butter. My husband said their eggplant parmigiana was the best he's ever had (and he's eaten a LOT of those; that's one of his fave dishes). He even liked the eggplant parmigiana better than the "best ever lasagna" he had a day earlier at Borghiciana Pastifico Artiginale. The only average dish at Rione XIV that we had was the salad with apples and mustard sauce. But this was more than made up for with the two pasta dishes we had and still can't stop thinking about. Our waiter was not very chatty, but was nice and laid back. Service was prompt. The restaurant is small, with maybe 8 tables or so, and fills up fairly quickly after opening time, so go early for a table. I can't wait to return for tonarelli cacio e pepe!!

Hostaria con cucina tipica romana e sfiziosità senza allontanarsi troppo dai sapori base e tradizionali.
Hidden in an alley off the beaten path (but super close to the metro) Armando occupies the site of an early 19th-century Osteria that has pretty much been serving food and wine ever since (though under different ownerships and incarnations). Armando updated the historical venue with taste and designed the menu with plenty of references to the traditional Roman cuisine. Many osteria dishes are present, though reinvented and enlightened. Contemporary dishes and new creations are the most interesting, and all of them are enough to allow a small group to eat them as tapas in lieu of a multiple-course meal. The wine list needs work and we hope it will be fully redesigned in consultation with an expert, external eye. Hence four stars rather than five. CordialmenteArmando

An excellent find. A rather eclectic and not very extensive menu - but the food was truly excellent. The crostini with black truffles and the grilled octopus were truly outstanding. A very small restaurant and no reservations so go early. Friendly staff and efficient service. An extensive wine list.

Wow. This place is a can't miss! The menu is simple, and the prices are very affordable. What surprised us the most was the quality of the food! The salads were out of this world tasty. The sandwiches we full of flavor. The staff is incredibly friendly. Don't wait, go now!

The restaurant "Baths of Diocletian" has been in business since 1986 and has now found its precise location in the capital's restaurant scene. The strength of our business is the professionalism and friendliness of its staff, coordinated by the brothers D
Food was pretty average. Service was ok. The bill came and was â¬93. Maybe with hindsight I should have checked it in detail. I paid the bill plus tip and it was taken away quickly. I thought it was a little expensive so picked up a menu to check the price of the meals we had eaten. Straight away a waiter asked if there was a problem. I said I thought we had been overcharged and was taken away from the other diners and was confronted by a person who came out of the kitchen plus three waiters. They said there had been a mistake and gave me â¬7 back. When I asked to see the original bill they said they didn't have it which was strange considering I'd only just paid it. They started to add a new bill together and I noticed the prices they were writing down were â¬2 or â¬3 more expensive then the menu prices. When I questioned this the four of them became quite aggressive towards me. I tried to calm the situation but they were shouting and pointing at the new bill they had written with the more expensive prices. I thought with their aggressive attitude towards me and being outnumbered four to one I should cut my losses and go. For this reason I wouldn't recommend this place. If you do eat here double check your bill before paying.

Back in 1954, a landlord of Amatrice opened this cellar to offer wine tastings of a very special wine produced by himself in the area of the Roman Castles. This Hostaria then became a Restaurant in the 1960s, and was managed by the sons of the owner, in t
Upon the recommendation of front desk personnel at our hotel we had lunch Piccolo Mondo on Via Aurora. We elected to dine outside because of the beautiful weather. My wife had a spritzer and I had a Moretti, and we both had a pasta dish with cheese and pepper. The food was good but the service was slow and not particularly friendly; it is doubtful this restaurant would be on my list to revisit.Thank you for appreciating our food. We dispoace for the service but it is generally reviewed as excellent.
