We popped in to this buzzy central restaurant last night. It was pretty jam packed with locals with sufficient waiting staff to offer you friendly and fast service. We enjoyed various dishes, apart from the sliced tomato salad being over-salted the rest were generous in portion size and really tasty. Our sonâs entrecôte and the boquerones were particularly good.So we had plenty of decent food and drink for three all for 40 euros. Needless to say we came away happy bunnies.

The restaurant group Bodebar offers quality Mediterranean cuisine through its two restaurants located in Algeciras and La Linea. Ten years operating in the Campo de Gibraltar have become quite a gastronomic reference thanks to a nearby service, a friendly
Smashed back a whistle stop lunch. Was lucky to get a seat. The place was heaving. I had tomato, tuna belly and onion salad, rice morcilla and a tostado of smoked sardine. Completely delicious.

Solomillo: The one we've got was a bit too skinny and dry, but prepared very well. Don't compare to the best in the city, I wouldn't call this one a proper stake.Huevos Rotos: A sunny egg with a running yolk perfectly covered in fries. Just brake it and enjoy!Empanadilla con queso de cabra: For those who like goat cheese with caramelized onion. Very creamy inside and taste rather sweet. The place has been refurbished recently, and for the DECOR, the new interior feels still a bit empty. The lights are too strong and the walls are missing some color or images. Tip: Don't order sides, all meals come with fries.

La linea isn't the prettiest of Spanish towns, but what it does have is this exceptional fish restaurant. On the boarder of Gibraltar, you have a lot of choice for good local tapas or fish restaurants, but this place is by far the best. Simple, classic Spanish bar and very reasonably priced the food which is fresh and tasty. This is a best kept secret, a locals favourite. You cannot reserve so need to try your luck so get there early. There is a menu, but you will find the staff will recommend excellent choices from catches of the day, together with the usual must haves. Service is warm and friendly, and the local wine is second superb. No thrills or spills at this place, but if you appreciate good fish this is a must try!

Owner managed, with professional staff, this is a find! Buzzy atmosphere, inside and out, with great food and drink. So pleased I found, albeit hotel AC Marriott had recommended. Charming! Highly recommend.

The best restaurant for miles around in terms of quality, creativity, and a host thatâs genuinely nice and caring of his clients. My recommendations will seem like the menu itself due to the amount of favourite dishes but be sure to order to sublime Japanese salad, the creamy Russian salad, the pork cheek with cous cous and carbon de bacalau. Enjoy!

Came across this place as we walked past looking for another restaurant.Invited in by Alejandro (the owner) who talked through the menu with us.The food is obviously his own interpretation on traditional tapas. He suggested dishes for us to order, and they were all unbelievably tasty and were huge ! A great place to try when in La Linea.Alejandro said heâs only been here ten months, and he cooks everything fresh to order, and the local food dictates whatâs on the menu.Brilliant ! We will definitely return.

I really love the authenticity of this restaurant. True Atunara cuisine :) served with smiles and efficiency even with a young vegan :/ they also had a full house catering a huge christening party and still delivered great quality food, quickly and deliciously. Very impressed. In all the time Iâve frequented LaLinea (20+ years), my best meal yet. Thank you. :)

Great little restaurant with the best service. There are 2 types of menus - Spanish/Med and Japanese. We actually never tried Spanish one, so no comment there. But their sushi menu and choice is unbelievable! There are numerous pages to chose from. So, if you are sushi fans like us - Highly recommended. Beautiful location with great view too.
