I arrived at 9pm just as the restaurant had emptied, but I was welcomed inside as the sole guest. The lamb souvlaki was incredible, the staff were friendly and did not try to rush me. Will definitely return and try the rest of the menu over a long lunch, dinner or both. Highly recommended. Thanks Tom so glad you just got in and could enjoy some lamb - hope to see you back soon

I had been looking forward to coming here after having to make a difficult choice on a previous visit to North Sydney. Sadly I am significantly underwhelmed. After venturing out into the rain after continual downpour all day, the restaurant was about 1/3 full. After arriving and being seated I ordered quickly as I was dining alone (up for business). The bread took almost 30 minutes to arrive and whilst it was offered to be removed from the bill, the mains came out almost at the same time. The lamb was cooked well and delicious, but unbalanced as a main meal with only meat and then the acidity of the beetroot and tomato. After eating the meal I have been roundly ignored for the next 20 minutes, so I decided to write this review.Despite wanting to order dessert, no one has bothered to even venture over or enquire to my needs. They haven't even looked over to catch their eye.Update- I did just manage to get their attention and request the panna cotta. Thankfully it came quickly and although very tasty, is not worth the 14 for half a strawberry and a measley amount of fairy flossy. The food was nice but sadly the experience is not worth it.Hi there, I am so sorry to hear of your unfortunate experience. While we are glad that you were able to enjoy your food, i would like to offer my apologies that service was lacking on this occasion. Located in Sydneyâs CBD and housed in the historic 350 George Street building, Mercado is at the gateway of the cityâs bustling and beautiful European-style Angel Place. We work with many small farmers, growers and producers to source the finest ingredien
For the last night in Sydney we were looking for a nice place and a good meal and a kind waitress in our hotel suggested this place. The area is amazing, the restaurant nice and calm and the food overal good, despite quite elaborate: more close to french cousine than spanish, but quuge interesting! We asked for Sangria, that they slso not offer, and they propose their spritz that has nothing to do with a real Spritz!Overall, the experience was good sonwr reccoment it.Hola,Thank you kindly for taking the time to write this great review. We are so pleased you enjoyed dining with us and appreciate you sharing your experience. You are quite correct, our cuisine is not classically Spanish, however we do draw inspiration from all over the Mediterranean, hence the varied styles of cuisine on our menu.I was our pleasure to host you and we hope to see you again one day. With appreciation,Mercado Team

A light modern space with views of Barangaroo. Delicious combinations involving smoked eggplant salad, lentil kofte, haloumi with honey dressing. Delicate and very fresh seafood. Sensational char grilled calamari, snapper on the bone. Grilled octopus with warm salsa - make sure you ask for chocolate hu'mousse. I've never seen anything like it!Interesting wine list with a mix of Turkish wines with a good selection by the glass. Plating was sophisticated and stylish. There is room for service to improve.Much higher quality than many "multi hatted" places I've been and better value.

Balcon by Tapavino's obsession of all things Spanish takes it up a notch with our contemporary take on the rustic and refined dishes from Northern Spain. With over 4000 bottles on display, a 12 meter bar, and and outdoor dining area that's sure to attract
Balcon is a classy Tapas And Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Sydney. The menu was certainly well thought out and the food presentation was excellent. There is no value for money here and not much change for $100 + / headThere is nothing wrong with this restaurant but for me the food was say so and I wouldnât go back here based on the cost. There are better restaurants around with out spending so extravagantly

Really authentic Italian run by the family, with great service and harbour bridge views. The lamb cutlets were perfect, the john dory soup was tasty, and the veal scallopini was creamy and tender. My tira misu was very good, and all in all, a very good dinner. Going back next time I am in Sydney!

Our lunch at Graze was very good. Itâs location in the Museum of Contemporary Art and view of the Harbour and Sydney Opera House is very pleasant. Our meals (teriyaki tuna and pappardelle pasta) were very tasty. Service was good; but lacked personal attention. Prices are on the high side; but as noted above, the setting is perfect.
