Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Kamari. The coastal village of Kamari features the beaches and ruins that are typical of Greek islands, but also boasts unusual attractions like an open-air cinema. Stray from the black pebble shores and head up to the site of Ancient Thira, where the stone remains of houses, markets, baths and temples will impress you with their size and structure. Sip local vintages at the Gaia Winery, then relax at an outdoor café as you watch the sun sleepily drop below the horizon, washing the sky with warm Aegean light.

A traditional restaurant with original santorian "meze" ,greek and mediterranian cuisine
I loved everything about this place â it was a convenient 10- to 15-minute walk from our Kamari Beach Hotel and offered delicious authentic Greek food without the touristy price tag. We were immediately welcomed with genuine smiles from the servers, who were also very helpful in recommending best dishes to order. The food was some of the best food we've had in Greece â we got the lahanodolmathes (Greek stuffed cabbage rolls), the meatballs and the grilled octopus with fava (to die for). Highly recommend!

Visited this restaurant twice whilst in Kamari last week and the food was excellent both times.Staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. The pepper corn sauce over the chicken was definitely the best weâve ever tasted.Would definitely recommend and revisit.

Stayed in the hotel next door and tried this place tonight. Had already sampled a couple of the restaurants on the beach but after trying this one itâs clear your paying for the view and not the food at those establishments. Everything about this place is very traditional - nobody trying to force you in off the street (the others do that) , traditional Greek food of the highest order ( better than those near the beach) and cheaper too - what a bonus. Every time we walk past there are plenty of people in there - it lets the food do the talking- try it, you wonât be disappointed.

Eat greek... Authentic Greek Gyros , souvlaki, kebab, pizza with gyros, mousaka, pasta with gyros, burgers, fish souvlaki, steaks, salads, roast vegetable and traditional santorini dishes All fresh and handmade
You can get the best gyros there, by far, on the entire island. But also the vegetarian dishes are extremely delicious. My mom instantly fell in love with this restaurant and didn't want to go anywhere else for the rest of our vacation (she is vegetarian). Our waitress, Vaso, was super friendly and charming. And also made us feel very welcomed everytime we came to eat. I wish there would be waitresses like here everywhere. And yet there is only one thing to say for me right now: yummy yummy yummy I would love to have it again in my tummy :D

The seafood saganaki was great. As was the roasted lamb in vine leaves. Large Greek salad was delish! with just the right cheese to veg ratio. Second time we had the chicken souvlaki, it was good but a little dry, but totally eatable with the rich creamy tzatziki. House wine was very drinkable even though it was very inexpensive. And to top it off we got a complementary pannacotta one night and the next a complementary lemoncello.

Fun atmosphere, t very good traditional taverna food, very good prices, because on a side street, not seaside. Fist night we were greeted by the Captain, who makes his raki/fruit juice welcome shots during the winter. over our meals we tried: pork schnitzel, beef stifado, soutzoukakia, pastitio, moussaka, and dolmades. all very enjoyable. Sweet treat or raki at end of meal, complimentary.

We visited here for the Greek night on a Wednesday and it was fantastic. Lots of music, dancing and plate smashing. The owner was really friendly, talking to everyone and getting them up to dance. I had pasta with salmon my mum the sea bream the only downside was although we asked for it to be filleted it still had loads of bones in but all round a great atmosphere and lovely food. Prices were much more reasonable than on the beachfront. It cost 50 euros and that was with a starter to share and 2 karafes of wine!!

Dining at Ombra in Esperas Santorini hotel gives you an exclusive view of the famous Santorini sunset while feasting on Greek cuisine based on the freshest local ingredients. The setting is picture-perfect with spectacular views of the Caldera in an intim
First let me say that Oia is one of the busiest hussle places we have ever visited. Trying to find peace and quiet in the evening is a real challenge. We were guests at Esperas and checked out many of the top rated dinner places, with good success. Except evenings in Oia are madness with the sunset crowds! So we decided to just "stay in" for the night and dine at Ombra. Best decision we made during our visit to Oia. Excellent food, exceptional service, and I might add: the best view of the Oia sunset. It is a small place and you need a reservation. If you stay at Esperas, it is a no brainer. For non-guests, it is worth the walk and the stairs!Thank you very much for your review and for the welcome comparison. It is always great to come out on top when compared to rival establishments, especially when coming from true guests. We very much appreciate your real review and your business.
