Diana fish restaurant is a well known seafood restaurant in Zygi and thus we were quite disappointed to see that it was over rated and quite disappointing. Our server seemed bored and unattentive, not friendly at all.The food was OK , not more and some of the dishes were prepared from frozen products ( which was not mentioned in the menu).

We have visited this restaurant many times over the years and once again my family and I have just had a super fish meal . The sal;ad was very fresh ,the fish we chose was cooked to perfection and the owners were very pleasant and helpful when we went to choose the fish from the cabinet.

Having read the good reviews about this restaurant we had hoped to eat there on our first night in Cyprus. Sadly, it was closed, like most other restaurants in the area. The same on the following night, Sunday. So I called the owner, Panagiotis (Peter) on Monday to find he was just closing at 5 pm. However he said heâd be open on tonight, Tuesday if I could tell him what time to expect us. It was most embarrassing to find that he, his wife and two daughters had kept the place open especially for us for 8 pm. We were treated royally to a great meal. We had only ordered a main course and carafe of wine. But what arrived were several starters and a free dessert, all interesting local Cypriot fare. The house white was also very good. All for a mere â¬37! Normally they close earlier, particularly in winter, which is most understandable, because, on Sunday mornings, they open at 3am to cater for hunters! We were so pleased that weâve booked to go back again in two days time. It couldnât have been more enjoyable.

Leniaâs Traditional Tavern is a jewel of authentic Cypriot Cuisine in the village Psematismenos between Limassol and Larnaca. Mrs Lenia and her husband George have been running it for 30 years, using only fresh local ingredients for their delicious home-c
We arrived in time for a late Sunday lunch. We had a salad and a couple of dips followed by klefitko (slow roast lamb and potatoes). The village wine is sold by the glass was good. Everything was fresh, tasty and homemade. Highly recommended .
Visited Kalavasos village with few family members and we really enjoy our lunch. This is a traditional family tavern that all members are doing something for the tavern. Even the small children are helping in serving the customers and they make you feel very nice. Food is served is very good. We order Greek salad with few dips and pumpkins with eggs for starters and we continue with village sausage and Halloumi. For main dishes we had souvlakia and sieftalia. All were fresh and cooked as they should be.
Very good service, excellent food and like said in previous reviews on this restaurant, ask for the house wine and order the specialty of the day.

Tochni Tavern, our family-run restaurant is situated on the peak of the village next to the reception area. The outdoor dining area offers a unique panoramic view of the valley below, stretching all the way to the sea. Indulge in local specialities prepar
We stayed in Tochni for 4 nights with our 3 year old daughter and had a great time! Guesthouse feels very authentic, staying in stone apartments with blue windows and wonderfull decorations, the staff is very nice, helpful and always ready to give advice, the food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious (we planned to cook but finally couldnt resist the menu :-). Views are beautifull and the village itself is full of charm. We used Tochni mainly as a base for trips, but you can also just relax at the pool. Accually we even met a couple from Limassol, who was simply escaping the summer beach crowds and they loved the place as well â¤ï¸

Home made food from the wood oven, delicious recipes, dishes always from fresh ingredients.
Family run restaurant in a village 25km from Limassol (20 minutes drive). Not just another traditional cypriot meze. You don't actually ORDER, they bring to you what they have prepared that particular day. Honest people, real traditional tastes, lovely backyard garden in the center of the village. You should absolutely try kleftiko. Inside the tavern it's quite small, reservation is a must

Our all dishes is fresh made , our grilled dishes is made on natural carob charcoal fire and gives the finest cooking and real taste , NOTE :WE ARE TRADITIONAL CYPRUS TAVERN ! EVERY DAY WE SERVE FRESH FOOD INCLUDING SPECIAL DISH OF THE DAY APART FROM MENU
Lovely setting in a nice village. The food is by and large good. The mousaka is superb and estofadas likewise. Second night we had the pre ordered fish meze. It was good particularly the prawns and fish on the bone. However we didnât enjoy the small red mullet, a delicacy but not to our liking. But that was down to us and no fault of the restaurant. Finally the cuttle fish was fairly disgusting, not for us. The owner was pleasant , however the bald server was rude and ignorant and is no addition to the tavern. For that reason alone we didnât return.Thank you for your review and your kind words about our dishes , is understandable that some of the fish meze was not on your taste , about the bald guy can you please tell me what happened !My priority in my restaurant is to satisfied our clients with good food and pleasant and kind service !I would really apriciate to hear from you ! Email : [email protected] !Thank you
