...as the name suggests but the pizza is ok. Pasta can be found better elsewhere, service is usually pretty swift although not overly friendly.

Nice atmosphere, good food and very pleasant service make this Italian restaurant a must when in the area. The location is beautiful and gives its best especially on sunny days when it's possible to enjoy the terrace. The food is very well done but the selection is quite limited, only pasta and pizzas but with a lot of different sauces/toppings. Prices are roughly 15-20 EUR pp with a drink.I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a business dinner in the upper level of the restaurant. The location is spacy and cozy at the same time. A lot of details in the decoration make you feel like having dinner at a friends place. We've been here 3 times. Staff very friendly. Food is ok. Wine is good. But the price for what you get is way too much. We pay around â¬120-140 for 2 people - this includes a bottle of wine and mineral water. But there are better places in the area for a much lower price. If the food was slightly better and the prices a little lower then this would be worth 5 stars. Love the staff - keep up the good work.

We arrived without a reservation but were offered seating inside as well as on the terrace. As it was a lovely sunny evening we decided on the terrace.we were immediately offered menus and a set menu of the day.Prices are average but service, quality and presentation are excellent. The portion sizes are generous. The restaurant was busy but service was personable and slick.We enjoyed our meal and the 3 course set menu was great value. Well worth a visit.Thank you

I had to be at the Monchengladbach Football stadium. Nearby I found this Italian restaurant just somewhere in the neighbourhood. Lunchtime and I was the only guest in a modern place. They had made it a little Italian with some pictures on the wall and a big pizza oven. I ordered a scaloppini with mushrooms, rocket and Parma cheese. Some baked potatoes I took as an extra. While I was waiting they brought me a nice glass of red and some delicious fresh baked bread with oil and butter. In a decent time frame they also brought me the plate and it was tasty although a little dry. With a nice expresso and a bottle of water, I paid less than â¬25,= so actually it is a great place to have a bite.

We stumbled on this restaurant/bar at the suggestion of local friends and were amazed at the ambience, friendly service, and incredible food coming out of the open-concept kitchen. Owner Werner and his staff seem to take a personal interest in every detail and the menu is outstanding. He also runs a retail shop in the front, in case you want to take some wine, spirits, or gourmet food with you when you leave. If I have get back to Monchengladbach, I will surely return!

The staff at Hyatt are exquisitely polite and attentive. This level of service is unique in a restaurant of this ctegory. They even went so far as to suggest extra time between dishes so we remained comfortable after the generous portions. The food was sublime: delicately spiced dishes with a syrian accent and inspiration. I can only higly recommend this restaurant. And what a relief to have vegetables, something most German restaurants seem to take pains to avoid.

The guest house is really a boutique hotel that is tastefully modern and thoughtfully planned. The decor is comfortably inviting. The shower is amazingly spacious and refreshing. The beds provide a restful sleep. There is a sitting area outside of the rooms which includes a well stocked bar with coffee, bottled waters, juices, beers, and wine for the enjoyment of guests at no extra charge. The outside garden and patio provide more spacious areas for relaxation. Breakfast is delicious with a variety of breads, rolls, cheeses, meats, and home-made jam. When you stay here you must enjoy a gourmet dinner experience. We ate on the outside patio surrounded by trees, flowers, and succulent plants. The food is all locally sourced and each menu item we tasted was scrumptious! My husband enjoyed beef, potatoes, apples, and hazelnuts while I had a baked white fish with fennel, potatoes, and lemon flavored fresh yogurt. Our server Emily was attentive, gracious, and very helpful and we thank her for recommending the a sampler of five desserts---creme brulee, chocolate mousse with raspberries and mint, poached pear in a hazelnut cream, lemon custard in homemade vanilla ice, and a strawberry sorbet. The restaurant has a large selection of lovely wines. Carmen and Frajo Stappen are fantastic hosts, creatively brilliant in all they bring to their customers--beauty, taste, comfort, and pleasure.
