We enjoyed 2 evening meals in this restaurants, both were very good . The calzone was absolutely huge and left no room for desserts. The "House" rose wine was very drinkable and I can understand why all the table were taken. There is a lively, busy atmosphere and the staff are talking to everyone at the same time "Very Italian" The price was very good value. On the second visit, we enjoyed the pasta with brie and speck and sadly there was no room for dessert.

noticed how busy this restaurant was and checked out the menu . staff were attentive and quick service. I had steak with chips 12 euro and side dish of grilled veg, 4 euro , not a thick steak but a good size . wife had chicken and chips with steamed veg , same prices . good value meals . at times people were queuing up to get in . saw some good looking pizzas at neighbouring tables. would recommend

If you appreciate smooth and delicate flavors you've gotten to taste their delicious risotto al nero di seppie with ricci di mare. The best risotto I ever had in my life (and trust me, I had quite a few).It's not just about a good dinner; the setting in the Venice lagoon, the sobriety of the decor, the attention to details, the kindness of the hosts, make eating at Locanda alle Porte a memorable and delicious experience to share with anyone you want to do a favor to.

Visited this restaurant a couple of years ago and decided to book for a birthday celebration. Booked online a couple of months ago.Checked the booking still stood the night before and our names were down for the following evening.The staff are very warm and welcoming. The food is excellent and there is a comprehensive wine list. We were going to have champagne but the prices were too high so opted for a sparkling wine which was excellent. Would visit again if holiday ing in Jesolo.You need to book at least 2 nights ahead. Some people queuing for a table got miffed when we walked straight in, not realising we had a booking. BOOK In ADVANCE!

Visited with family after seeing how well rated this place was on TripAdvisor, and was not disappointed! It's very popular, so booking is required during peak dining time. The portions were huge, the prices reasonable, and the meat was fantastic - within our group I was able to try the ribs, the sausage, the veal, the chicken, the kebab, and the pork, and the only one that didn't take me to food heaven was the kebab - everything else was spectacular. Even the fries and polenta were some of the best I've had. Staff were friendly and helpful, beer tasty, it's really quite difficult to find anything wrong with here.In conclusion, come here and eat lots of food, you won't regret it!

Noticed this place as weâd passed a couple of times on an evening and it was always busy so thought weâd give it a go. Great welcome, seated quickly with a selection of bread brought to the table followed quickly by the drinks order. I chose a calzone pizza whilst my hubby had the spaghetti & meatballs. My only issue was that my pizza was brought out before the spaghetti meaning I had to start before my husband to avoid the food going cold. That said, both meals were tasty & good value - the only complaint from my husband was that there wasnât enough meatballs - this only said because the were so good!!Definitely one to try if youâre in the area

Food here was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious, the best pizza Iâve had in Italy so far. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service was very quick. Wine was wonderful and cheap and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. It was very nice to watch the pizzas be cooked in front of you.

This is a lovely restaurant and a bit classier than we would usually visit. The service was first class and the food was very tasty but expensive and no better than what we have had for half the cost.The food was well presented and the menu had several different dishes from the norm on the strip nearby. All in all we are glad we visited and enjoyed our meal but it wasn't worth the extra expense.

Ho visitato questo ristorante nel mese di ottobre, in una situazione decisamente più tranquilla rispetto agli affollati mesi estivi, visto che ci si trova in una cittadina di mare.Mi hanno molto colpito l'eccellente qualità delle materie prime utilizzate e l'estrema generosità dei titolari, visto che utilizzavo un coupon a prezzo fisso. Tutto il pesce é freschissimo e proveniente dall'Adriatico, mentre le vivande da noi sperimentate erano elaborate nel rispetto dei gusti originari delle materie prime utilizzate e generose nelle porzioni.Raccomando senz'altro questo ristorante a chi ricerca genuinità e sapori del territorio.
