We ordered the standard Italian fare. Pizza brotchen, tagliatelle with housemade pesto sauce and a Diavolo Pizza. We ordered it all to go and it was ready in about 20 minutes. It is not superior Italian food nor is it terrible. I'd call it just average. The outdoor seating looks like the place to go as it was very crowded.

ANGE D`OR JUNIOR Restaurant & Bar Since 1965
I have no issues paying lots of money for good food, been to numerous Michelin starred places. This place truly shocked me in terms of value for money. They try to do Euro-Asian fusion cooking, but it just doesn't work out. One of the sauces still gives me the shivers. Decor is extremely outdated, ok if you like cheesy 80s style. Friendly hosts.

Sometimes we eat there since we live close by. I always like the flammkuchen and it is an easy walk to go there.

I like to drive around Dûsseldorf and during last weekend we ended up in Mülheim an der Ruhr at the time of the diner. We entered in the restaurant Walkmuhle and immediately were surprised about the warm welcome we received. We were lucky enough to have a table in front of the open fire (not working during the warm days but I can already imagine myself during the winter were a fire would be crackling softly giving to the room a great romantic and relaxing ambiance). Sergey, the owner, gave us advices on the menu and it was great advises. We ate like kings, oysters, dorade fish, I took a steak cooked with a 800c professional beafer. Just amazing. While eating, the table next door ate some pasta with mushroom prepared inside a big parmesan cheese and I promised myself to come back to try it.Thank you a lot. We are ever glad to see you again. See you.

We just happened to find Lâolivo by chance, as we had a friend staying overnight close by. What a pleasant surprise. Good service, friendly atmosphere and excellent food. It is a small cosy restaurant, where the chef takes the trouble to visit with his patrons. Affordable and a most enjoyable evening. We will definitely be back

This restaurant clearly has ambitions to be counted among the "fine dining" establishments in the greater Düsseldorf area. For example it took part in this year's "Tour de Menü" competition, although I don't know how well they scored. Our booking was for four people at 7 pm. The restaurant was about half full when we arrived. It took quite a while for us to be offered drinks. When we didn't choose to have the waiter's recommended pink Sekt, he seemed to lose interest in us & it took about 30 further minutes to get some water & some wine. The food was very good, however, when it came. The menu is not extensive, with about 5 or 6 dishes offered for each course. This would indicate that the choices are changed quite frequently. Prices seemed about right for this kind of high quality food. While she clearing dishes away, the waitress spilled some drops of oily salad sauce onto the clothing of a lady in our group. Although she apologized quite profusely, there was no offer of a free coffee or a digestif in compensation. To sum up, quite an enjoyable restaurant experience in most ways. Good food, but some room for growth in service to guests.
