The food was excellent. The salad with apples and walnuts was great as was the pasta. The pice with tomato sauce was phenomenal and I would recommend the pasta with sausage and broccoli sauce. We also had the chicken steak and the pasta with boar ragout which was amazing. The service was great - the owner really cares. All in all, a great find.

Il Ristoro di Ama is set in a Tuscan house with antique furniture and modern elements. It's a wonderful way to try the wines of Castello di Ama paired with fantastic cuisine. Tuesday closed.
We made an email reservation for lunch about a month in advance because we wanted an outdoor table on the terrace. When we visited, in early October, many tables were available so we could have easily walked in as well. Once seated outdoors, we were suprised to find that the terrace didn't have a view, as other's have stated in their reviews. The terrace had an internal view of the hamlet buildings with white drapery blocking the intense sun. Even in October the sun was blaring hot, too hot to sit outside at midday. We requested to move inside and were quickly accomodated. The indoor dining area is split up into many lovely rooms decorated with modern touches. We loved the juxtaposition of the extremely old historic castle decorated with modern lighting, furniture, fabrics, etc.The lunch menu was great; so many items to choose from. We wanted to order them all!Outstanding dishes were the lasagna and beef cheeks stewed in red wine. Oh, and the wine is incredible! We each ordered different wines by the glass to accompany our lunch because we wanted to sample them all. After lunch, we went down to the Enoteca to try a glass of the L'apparita, which we shared overlooking the vineyard. The Enoteca faces the vineyard, however, the lunch terrace did not. Definitely save time to stroll around the tiny medieval hamlet. It's it truly gorgeous!.The experience was first class and we will definitely go back on our next trip to Chianti Classico region. It was one of the top memorable meals of our trip. Also, you can buy candles and room frangrances in the Enoteca Shop to take home! This restaurant is not for the tourist masses; it's a unique experience!

For me this little place sums up Tuscany. Great wine, great food, great views. What else can I say? This charming little restaurant serves delicious rustic, very reasonably priced food.We were lucky enough to sit outside, with wonderful views over vineyards. As a vegetarian I sometimes struggle, but the pasta dishes were great.

We took shelter from the rain to have a warming reception and lunch thanks to Andrea, Le Cose Buoneâs owner. Ribolatta, TBone steak and dolce matched well by Chianti Classico from the village. Just what we needed before our ride back to Siena. Try it you wonât be disappointed.

The restaurant's atmosphere is warm and welcoming, while the surrounding garden enhances the overall mood with a touch of romance. During the hotter months meals are served outdoors under a bower of climbing roses and wisteria. Here the gourmet can savour
We spent a delightful afternoon lunching on the terrace of the restaurant at Badia a Coltibuono. The view and ambience canât be beaten. The cuisine was superb, the service excellent and the wine perfect. If you want a true Tuscan/Chianti experience you couldnât do better than this. And very close to Radda. Donât miss the excellent gift shop on the road as you depart the grounds.

This year to OSTERIA IL PAPAVERO you can have exciting cooking class! Call or write us, we wait for you!!!
Little to add to the last dozen or so reviewers who loved this charming restaurant; totally agree. Almost gave up hope of finding it, but gritted teeth and kept going; the enticement at the last stage was catching a view of the classic hill village of Barbischio where this jewel is found. I was received by the owner with warmth, despite having no booking. Both the tortellini and the cheesecake were evidence of loving care in the kitchen; freshly prepared, mouthwatering. Hope no one reads the reviews, or there will be no table available if I return without a booking.

This is an average restaurant serving basic local dishes. Fine if you are local, but not worth a special visit. Maybe we were disappointed after all the glowing previous reviews. It is OK, but not special. There are better restaurants a few miles away.
