I had spotted this relatively new restaurant/bar/jazz club at the port a few weeks ago but not had the opportunity to visit until now. With the kids away we had a date night! But despite the good looks of the restaurant many things are simply below par.The place looks great. Nice design, colours, layout with a small stage and house instruments in place. But when you enter inside the main building there is an immediate strange smell - cleaning fluid or bathroom smell that is quite off putting. But we stayed as we really wanted to give this place a go. From 2045 to 2200 we were the only table then another couple turned up. Wine is very limited in selection but we had a bottle of Rioja at â¬20 that was very good. Food is grossly over priced though and not that great. I had cod fillet and my wife pork fillet in mustard sauce. To our surprise despite the price the portions did not include any substance - the fish simply in a sauce and nothing else whilst the pork had mash. The cod had so many bones I could not tolerate so had to leave a lot of it. The pork was better but again for the price was not good. But the real kicker is that when my wife tried to advise of our disappointment (yes my Spanish is very poor) the waitress was indignant and said that she couldnât possibly complain without having tried the food. Iâm not sure the waitress will last that long with this attitude! Why does portion size and lack of accompaniments have to do with trying the food? Maybe the food magically expands on contact with the mouth? Well we ticked the box and tried a good looking place to find it is not worth having dinner there. Maybe when they have bands playing it might be nice to visit for drinks but I suggest avoiding the food. And as for the server....!

Having arrived late at El Masnou, we stopped at Atipa-t for a quick bite to eat and were delighted we had. Quick friendly service and excellent Food made our first evening very enjoyable, so much so that we went back again the next day for lunch and the food was even better. This is a real gem,if you are in the area you should make time to visit

Located in the Port Esportiu Masnou, just 15 km from Barcelona and terrace all year round, is located Saloma, a restaurant that plays a kitchen and market proximity, where his specialties are tapas and rices.
Good level cuisine. We do like the way they cook and serve turbot (rodaballo) and octopus (pulpo). The service is very attentive and flexible in case of special requests (for small children for example). This is a place where we go to have simple family dinner with guaranteed stable quality.

Cozy restaurant to enjoy quality Mediterranean cuisine at a good price.
We were with the family and the experience was incredibly good. Service was outstanding and rice and Fideua were incredibly good. Deserts were also made by them and superb... we will come back again for sure next time we are in town. Thank you so much for your opinion. It is very important for us to know what kind of experience have our customers to improve day by day. The next time you come back with your family, we will be happy to welcome you again.

They very good food (seafood, fish and meat) with superb service. The restaurant in located in the building in the basement of which are actual caves where they keep their cava. Cava is quite decent, although by far not the best in spain. The restaurant has its own parking which is not visible from the street, you have to drive in. Good place to visit one. As a drawback, there is some slight smell of moisture/mildew but it's not bad at all.

A thursday they offered for 11.50 menu. 3 starters three main courses and three desserts. Acid olives in advance. Either we choose as a starter for a tortilla with black sausage. Small portion, well spiced, unfortunately the bread slices are toasted too hard. Main course we choose the paella, good flavor, and chicken strips, light coated and with a honey-mustard sauce. Good flavor, while fries are not that crispy. Good fries a real a problem in Spain. Chocolate cake with whipped cream homemade so nothing wrong with that and macedonia of fresh fruit. An excellent coffee. Good food at a good price, but portions rather small

Located in a quite square of El Masnou - Ocata. We offer, aperitif, tapas, lunch and dinner services. Mediterranean cuisine and proximity products. High quality products. Fresh fish.
This lovely bar and restaurant is a must visit place if you are in the area and worth the short train ride (25 minutes) from the city if not! Itâs a few steps away from the beautiful beach of Ocata and 5 minutes from Ocata rail station. The food is authentic and delicious and if you can visit in the daytime the Menu del DÃa is great value. There are tables outside overlooking the pleasant square or inside the decor is traditional and rustic for those cooler evenings. The service is polite and friendly and English spoken for those of us who struggle with the language!I live locally and have visited many restaurants and this is the most authentic and the best! Give it a try!!Thank you so much and we appreciate your kind revew. It was pleasant to have you at our restaurant. Hope to see you soon.Kind regards,

This is one of those places that if you have to drive to get here it will be totally worthwhile, and of you are nearby is a must to visit. We just had a chance to talk to the Chef, he is the father of the owner and has the passion to make your pallet experience the delicious flavors filling your mouth. Ariela suggested the pizza with the name of the restaurant, the Mika and it was the best pizza I have ever had. The new desert with Nutella, Frangelico and nuts is to die for.
