In Andalusia Coffee- Pub is your local of leisure. You choose: Beer national and international very cool + "tapita". From big baguettes, sandwiches, burgers, salad, etc, Choose between 60 dishes made at the time with extreme affection. The best coffee And
Having lived in Spain for fifteen years, and suffered a multitude of mediocre coffees (not all), I can say that, surprisingly, in this bar I had the best café con leche I've ever had. Perfect, thin, bitter Catunambu coffee topped off with a thick, smoothly heated milk( just brought to a firm cream),and poured perfectly. Fantastic!

This review is intended for non Spanish tourists. The location is fine, right by the attractive town hall and most dining is outside. Menus are available in 4 languages. The menu itself is quite extensive, typical of the Sierra de Cadiz and the prices are reasonable. If you don't like music in your ear, take a seat to the right of the tables as you approach the restaurant walking uphill. There are often specials on offer on blackboards. If you don't expect alta cocina (haute cuisine) you will not be disappointed. We have been before and would go again. I rate the restauarant as good but the rating system says average or very good so that is not possible.

There is outside, inside and terrace overlooking the river seating. The menu ( in Spanish only) features mainly the meats from this part of the world, as well as standard starters and postres. Our food was very good with large portions and the bill was a very pleasant surprise. The service was fine and the cooking took the time it takes for fresh food. Will definitely visit again.

Desastre total... Nada recomendable...

We happened upon this restaurant quite by luck while driving through the Pueblos Blancas. The waiter was wonderful and even though he spoke very little English and we spoke even less Spanish, we ended up with a fantastic lunch for four with beer and wine for 35 Euros. The waiter indicated he could pick a selection of tapas for us and we ended up with a great variety which included gazpacho, chicken rolls with ham and cheese, wild boar, venison stew, lamb, marinated olives and potatoes. Following the meal, he brought us a round of liqueurs on the house. It was a great meal with great service and I would highly recommend it.

The view from the terrace on a grey public square - perhaps the ugliest part of this village - is far from idyllic, but the restaurant itself looks neat. The (small) salad was unremarkable, the plate/manger of fried calamari was fine.Service was unremarkable too, the bill including a small bottle of water came to 15 EUR.

On our driving tour of Andalusia, we stopped for a meal in Ubrique. By accident, we found this wonderful "gastobar" bistro and enjoyed an excellent array of tapas and raciones in the middle of a weekday afternoon. The room has comfortable seating, interesting décor, attentive service, and excellent food. Highly recommended!
