Our restaurant is located in the heart of the historic center of the ancient Republic of San Marino, offers cozy atmosphere with panoramic views and fine cuisine much to devote part of catering to gluten-free cooking. Romagna cuisine with homemade pasta,
We came to this restaurant as it was around the corner from our hotel, we didnât have a booking but no problem, we ordered pasta, 2 different meals, had breads while we were waiting, then our meals arrived really quickly. They were very flavoursome, we added some chilli (as we love chilli) and we both tried a bit of each otherâs meals and they were both delicious. We had some wine to go with our meal and we were very satisfied with everything.Thank you for your reviewDonatella

Recent reviews from other customers were less than positive, but my experience here was simply outstanding - and i am a very demanding customer, not easily satisfied when it comes to food at all! Righi, however, made my taste buds very happy tonight. Each dish was incredibly refined in its flavour, texture and presentation. One example being crispy pieces of eggplant on a wonderful tomato soup with a burrata cream. All simple enough ingredients but prepared in a new way which made this starter memorable. Lovely and elegant setting, excellent wine, attentive but discrete service. On my next trip to san marino, this will be my first stop!Dear Monicakatharina, thank you for having found the time to review our work.Unfortunately some guests confuse "L'Osteria La Taverna" with the "Ristorante Righi", the one where she had lunch.I will communicate with great pleasure his review to the Staff, they will be happy!Wishing to see you soon, I greet you cordiallyEnrico

We were passing through San Marino and spent only one night here. In the morning we were looking for a breakfast place in Borgo Maggiore and we were invited to have breakfast at Hostaria da Lino joining the residents of the hotel/auberge.At very reasonable cost we thorougly enjoyed the full, delicious breakfast served, the strong and tasty Italian coffees and, not to forget, the hospitality of the staff at this place. We did not expect anything and were treated like kings.

I chose this place based on their good reviews, but it was a bit disappointing. The décor is really old and lacks any kind of style and the view is almost non-existent. Food was average and quite expensive. It felt more like a canteen rather than a restaurant. I wouldnât come back.

This was the culinary highlight of our trip to Rimini last summer and beat any dining experience that we had in Bologna, which is widely considered to be the gastronomical capital of Italy. Taking everything into account, this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.Having finished at San Leo mid-afternoon, I suggested stopping off for a walk around Verucchio, solely on the basis of having driven past it on the way there and having seen a picture of the castello in the village. Verucchio is a nice little village and I'm sure once the restoration of the historic buildings is complete, it will become a tourist gem. This place is already ready for that. After a walk around town, we opted to eat here after reading the menu outside. It's entrance just off the main square off the town, does not particularly hint at the beautiful setting inside. It's a superb restaurant in a beautiful cellar built on the side of the hill. The food is very cheap for Italy and is presumably because of the size or lack of renown of the locale, but this goes to show that price is not the best barometer of quality. The freshly cooked bread served in paper bags is a lovely touch whilst browsing the menu. We were full after starters and mains, but once we saw the desserts we could not resist those either. As we had been sightseeing that day, I perhaps felt a little underdressed in such fine surroundings, but I was never made to fill less than welcome for a second. Truly superb. I only hope I can find such wonderful hidden gems on future trips!Dear TMDaines,Good morning from the amazing Verucchio!Thank you so much for your kindly review. We are so happy to feel you so excited and so enjoy regarding your last wonderful experience in our old restaurant. We hope to host you one more time in next future!See you soon in Verucchio!Best Regards,Mirko Acquaviva
Where to eat Northern-Italian food in Dogana: The Best Restaurants and Bars

A famous old restaurant in the hills overlooking Rimini - renovated and done up. The last time I had been here, the terrace overlooked a field with chickens, now it's replaced by a swimming pool and bar area where live events are held. The terrace looks like it's been extended, and there seem to be lots more tables. The restaurant was famous for its rustic dishes - especially il galletto or rooster. The food is still good, though and sticks to that rustic recipe. So the food is good and the place looks great - why the average review? The first thing is that we found ourselves guided to a table round the back beside the kitchens and serving areas, where there didn't seem to be space for a table. Throughout the night we had waiters squeezing by (with hot plates in hand). Talking with other friends, they had a similar experience. Also, by dint of the fact that the restaurant had so many tables, the service was average to poor. The impression we got was that the restaurant was pushed to capacity, and we were its over-capacity tables.Hopefully these are just teething problems with the restaurant re-adjusting to its make-over, because the place is beautiful, and the food is good.

This place was recommended to my husband and I by our Airbnb host. We definitely felt like we lucked out on this place. A pleasant and wonderful ambience with friendly staff and very reasonably priced dishes. This place is a must when visiting San Marino. Opens at 7pm though. we lucked out on this place. Very good food with an offering of typical local dishes. I warmly suggest to reserve a table to be able to be placed at the window and enjoy the great view.

We tried the 3 towers lunch set. It costs 19 Euro. It consists of a salad, lasagna, suckling pig and a cup of 3-flavoured ice-cream. The portion is decent. Food is good and the view is nice. The only thing is that the suckling pig tasted more like roasted pig.
