Everything you could want from an excellent italian dinner with amazing open fire grilled meats. My son is super picky, but scarfed his pancetta pasta in no time and asked for a second course (this never happens). Try the local custoza wine. Our entire bill with multiple courses for three people, water, wine, and soda for the child was still under 60 euro.

Trattoria with typical Verona excellent pasta dishes with fresh egg pasta and meat of choice
Unusual location out on edge of Villafranca town and a bit basic inside. However, food was great and friendly, quick service made up for tv blaring out! Nice steak and good value.

Pizzeria con posti a sedere sia all'interno che all'esterno, offre pizze con vari tipi d'impasto : integrale, classico, farro, segale, con forno a legna . serve alcolici
The pizzeria recently moved next door. The pizzeria, decorated with taste, is larger and has an open view kitchen where you can see your pizza progressing in its making. There are a few tables but you can still have takeaway. Same great quality, really a master of the pizza. Yummy and light.

it's recommended both by the slow-food guide and the michelen guide, so a must-try for us. we had their home-made dumplings, cold cuts and barbecued mixed meat (chicken, beef steak and sausages). needless to say, excellent food, home-made, fresh and tasty. nice services and very affordable prices (below 10 euros for primo, my mixed meat barbecued plate was just 12 euros, desserts at 4 to 5 euros). can't believe nowsdays such good restaurant still exists..... only two things to note: if using GPS it's at certain point a bit confusing to arrive (need to make sure once you see the sign "santa lucia al monti" drive towards it even the GPS tells you to go straight), second, i ordered a plate of cold cut with salami and italian bacon, as bacon was sold out they gave me all 6 pieces salami, i mean, i would expect they gave me, maybe 3 pieces of salami and 1 slice of raw ham etc etc instead of all 6 pieces of salami...... anyway, not a complaint.

We sat on the terrace in this exquisite restaurant for three hours just enjoying a leisurely lunch before we had to go to the airport and fly home. We savoured every mouthful and it was all worth it. Delightful food, good wine and friendly service made this the perfect final memory of a fabulous holiday!

We used this restaurant to host our wedding meal, a small gathering for family and select guests. We organised a mix of dishes that gently flowed out of the kitchens with an abundance of decent local wine to wash it all down. We had polenta, game and bruschetta's with various toppings but to name a few of the starters, Risotto (which my mother is now crazy for) which was delicious, and mounds of sliced (fiorentina) t-bone which was to die for. They made us up a wedding cake and treated us with the utmost attention and professionalism. All in all our meal was simply brilliant, including the price. Not the cheapest out there but certainly couldn't be called expensive, especially against their quality of produce. Could not recommend enough.... And the view is notable to say the least.

Simple, good, reliable, cheap. Straight food in a three generation family restaurant. Very good view. Try the horse filet if you are brave.

Great food and such a friendly staff at the bar.The risotto was my favorite and so was the Limoncino. The bartender told us that the Limoncino was made in house and that they had it for sale (score!). I purchased 4 bottles to take home to nyc. Thank you for a nice experience.

We had lunch here whilst visiting the beautiful town of Borghetto. We had a mix of Tortollini as we were informed that this is a speciality of the area. We were not disappointed and the desserts were good as well. A lovely setting for a meal.
