We ordered tapas, and got some great dishes. The food wAs great, the wine was great, the waiter was also great! What more could you want? A fantastic little restaurant, shame we didn't visit earlier in our holiday. The kids loved writing on the wine cork & sticking it to the ceiling - something memorable!

Better than almost anything without a Michelin star in London.Impossible to decide whether the Salt Cod, the local Lamb cutlets or the Octopus.The kids had adult-friendly pizzas.The veggies had excellent tagliatelle.The house red was delicious too.Good service: friendly, efficient and (helpful for us) enough English to make life easy for tourists with bad Portuguese!

Amazing homemade typical Portuguese food at good prices. There was a really nice old lady taking care of our table that gave us some suggestions for what to eat. We tried the âpresuntoâ and âvinha de alhosâ as appetizers and had the entrecôte as main course, all was really good and big portions ! We tried also the almond tart as dessert, and it went sooo well with the coffee, so that was the perfect way to finish a good meal.

Dropped in with my wife and sister and her hubby for a light lunch. The experience from start to finish was wonderful..Paulo the 19 yo son of the owner and chef was a delight..charming, interesting and courteous...the food was fresh and authentic...fava beans and cod cakes were outstanding..the relaxing courtyard with vineyard views was beguiling...and all for a great price...highly recommennded

We've reached @5pm to have dinner, which wasn't a problem.The waitress and owner were super attentive with us and with our 1yo son. The price is super accessible, the food was perfectly cooked and with good quality.I recommend surely recommend this restaurant, choose Posta de Vitela.

Este estabelecimento é conhecido como ideal e especialista em cozido.No entanto serve também cabrito (por encomenda), borrego, arroz de enchidos, pizzas e muitas outras especialidades.Escolhemos o cabrito que estava divinal. O serviço foi rápido, eficiente e simpático. As entradas de presunto e queijo cumpriram o seu papel.Assim que o estabelecimento enche o ambiente fica um pouco pesado e quente em demasia.Devido ao volume de serviço existiu um ligeiro atraso na apresentação da conta.No conjunto um estabelecimento muito bom com comida regional de excelência e que merece a deslocação.Preço médio de 14,50 ⬠por pessoa com sobremesas.

Just had lunch here. We sat upstairs on the balcony. The combination of good Portuguese food and an amazing view of the river makes this lunch 'as good as it gets' Lovely staff made us feel really welcome. We will be back!!
