we didnt have a reservation and were lucky they had availability. the menu is the chef's tasting menu so they bring whatever they made that day. you won't be disappointed. everything was incredible...the cheese, the bread, the salumi's, the pasta and on and on. incredible meal and excellent value. the location is very unique and the tholos is a great attraction.

We have a house in Caramanico and have been eating locally for over 14 years. We always support local business and want the town to prosper so I feltcompelled to write this review. We came for dinner but weren't told the al a carte menu was finished until after they had served us water and taken our wine order. They could only serve the lunch menu but we said that was fine. It wasnt!! Soup was bland and just about warm. Pasta was a stodgy reheated tasteless mess. We were told the meat was pork. 2small bits of leather maybe lamb? not sure - lots of hard fat running throught it. Spoonful of vegetable mess. Clearly this was all cooked at lunchtime and just reheated- badly. It takes a few minutes to cook some fresh pasta and grill a piece of meat no proper cook would serve this! 51 euros and the worse meal we have ever had- ever! Als no view, terrace tables weren't cleared so no service either. The menu may be typical but the quality certainly wasn't.Gentile ospite, siamo veramente dispiaciuti per non aver soddisfatto le vostre esigenze! Se avete possibilità tornate a trovarci !Un saluto cordiale da parte di tutto lo staff

Del Baron is an up-market restrauant, and can also cater for large weddings. Set over looking the most beautiful countryside, the host greeted us warmly. The food was local and sensational, the service impeccable. To get there from town is a short car ride, or a short 20 minute stroll.

Cantina Majella è un locale dove dal primo momento in cui entri ti accorgi di respirare un'aria diversa rispetto a quella dei soliti locali.La gentilezza, genuinità , simpatia e disponibilità di Francesco e Ovelio ti colpiscono subito.Qui puoi gustare dei gradevoli manicaretti, accompagnati da una ottima selezione di bevande ed un'altrettanto gradevole proposta musicale. Non ho avuto il piacere di assistere ad un evento dal vivo, che so essere sempre molto ricercato e di elevata qualità , ma è una mancanza che spero di poter colmare al più presto.

My wife and I checked into the Pesco Falcone B&B and Restaurant after trekking 10 kilometers through the Valle dell'Orfento on a very hot (95 degree) day. When we entered the B&B there was a "restaurant" off of the reception area which I though was the only one associated with the B&B. I was wrong--it was simply the area for breakfast. The real restaurant was around the corner attached to the back of the B&B. When we walked in at 8:30 it was packed--which was a good sign. We were quickly seated at table with linen and nice wine glasses. We were then given menus that were in English--which for us is always helpful. The young lady that waited on us was the only waitress in the restaurant--and was working triple duty taking care of all the diners--and she did it extremely well. We started with bottles of fizzy water and a cold local white wine (Trebbiano). We both then ordered pasta dishes--me the one with ham and mushrooms, by wife one of the vegetarian dishes. Both were healthy portions of really great tasting food--and both quickly disappeared. Next my wife ordered a insalada misto, while I ordered the veal and a side of spinach soufflé. We were hungry after the days' activity, and she had no problems finishing her salad. Although I didn't finish the spinach (which was really good, but I just got too full) I did destroy the veal which was excellent. The total bill was 62 euros--and we were out of the restaurant in about 90 minutes. We could not have asked for a better dining experience!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! It's family owned and run and everything is homemade! The food is amazing and the service is fanstasic! I love coming here year after year for the excellent food. The arrosticini are our favorite but you must try the local pasta (chitarra al pomodoro). The appetizers were so good including the different bruschetta's and local salami and cheese. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

We had a beautiful lunch here. Delicious food from the antipasti through to the desserts at a great price. It's a nice, quiet location in the hills of Abruzzo close to the many nearby attractions such as the hermitages, rock climbing and ski fields. The service was warm and welcoming. We would definitely come back again

A little pricier than the restaurants in Caramanico, but definitely worth it. Food was superb, excellent service, good ambiance. Don't be put off by the ugly building exterior, it's a great restaurant.

Il locale è delizioso, curato e minuzioso in tanti dettagli che lo rendono piacevole ed accogliente. Il servizio eccellente, cortesi e soprattutto attenti al benessere dei clienti. Infine , ma non perché meno importante la qualità della carne che abbiamo mangiato, una grigliata mista buonissima assolutamente da provare.. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
