Had my birthday meal at The Persian last weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the food. The portions were very good and you can tell that the meat was very good quality, I also enjoyed the 2 mezes which I had as I had never tried anything like them before. The service was quick and the owner was very attentive and friendly, the place is quite small but has a very pleasant atmosphere. I had one of the stews from the specials board which I would recommend and can't wait to try the kebab - I will 100% be returning.

We have nothing but praise for this deliciously authentic Greek Restaurant. Very traditional very tasty excellent staff who are attentive and welcoming. The value for money is outstanding. Its packed to the rafters most weekends, the vibe is good. Try not to take to much heed of the other negative comments, it's not worth worrying about or you will miss out.

The atmosphere and staff were amazing were very friendly and vibrant.The food was amazing! We are authentic italian food in Hull with traditional wood fired pizza oven using proper Italian ingredients and all our dishes freshly prepared with fresh local meat and vegetables and salad. Fresh and high quality with authentic test .

Visited a relative in this area and I noticed this new place had opened, after looking inside and seeing the menus I thought I'd ask a few questions to test the staff whilst making sure about hygiene and a few other things and all looked very good.So after chatting with the owner ( un be known to me at the time) he recommended 2 of his pizzas, price was very reasonable and I set off home hoping the wife would enjoy the food. After opening the boxes the amount of food for what I'd paid for would of fed at least 6 people, the variety of tastes was astounding and quite frankly the best take away I've ever visited. Try this place and I can't see how anyone could be disappointed with this outlet. Keep up the great customer service, the fantastic food and the very happy atmosphere.

Just been to the agean and once again you never disappoint , this restaurant must surely be the best in hull, if you are looking for fine cuisine excellent service and fantastic surroundings then look no further, I guarantee you will not be disappointed we never are, you must try this restaurant and experience their unique hospitality

Extremely good service and brilliant food. All the food was brilliant although my bolognese pizza did not taste as good as some places it still tasted very nice. I will definitely be coming back here.

We visited in a Friday evening after making a booking travelling from Sunthorpe We had a really good meal with a great bottle of red wine The service was good and very attentive The owner was very friendly and a great characters recommended the wine plus helped with our choice of food We will definitely be returning soon

Two couples went for a midweek lunch for a 70th. Excellent service - restaurant not full. Strange location but lovely view over Humber estuary - sun was out so it looked good! Lovely food but portions not big so we needed three courses. sorbet.starter was mash cauliflower and a poached egg wrapped in bacon. Main was beef pie ( look at shape on photo - looked like a bread roll! ), one carrot and mash. Dessert a very ricj chocolate with strawberry.We thought it was expensive at roughly £50 each, including drinks. Has just as nice food but larger portions elsewhere.Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.I didn't recognise the dishes that you were describing from our current menu, but then realised you visited us last November.I do hope you will consider revisiting us this year.Kind RegardsNatasha HayesReservations Manager
