Frequentiamo questo ristorante da tanti anni non siamo mai rimasti scontenti. Ottime pizze e servizio rapido, gentile e competente.Il menù pizze, ma anche primi e secondi è molto vario e con prodotti locali.Prezzi onesti.Il locale è grande, rustico e ben mantenuto.Complimenti a Zino e figlio.Consigliatissimo.

In the heart of Sicily, the best and modern hospitality combined with a unique tradition. A hotel, with all the amenities you would expect, in a wonderfully overview of 'Etna. The hotel also has a convenient parking lot for cars. The happy location, you c
We tried the restaurant following the suggestion of local people who genuinely recommended the restaurant as a good one. Unfortunately it wasn't. The location and the restaurant are really nothing special, but worst thing is food. We asked for the caponata and we had to send it back because it had gone bad! We then asked for pasta with pistachio, but it had to much cream and you could taste nothing else but cream!! We do not recommend it. As he patiently explained our chef, caponata had not gone bad, as has been noted even by customers seated next to you who have enjoyed generous portions, and the taste that she felt and did not like was VINEGAR! which is one of the basic ingredients of the Sicilian caponata, she obviously thought he had chosen some other dish; in our pistachio penne THERE IS CREAM but a sauce that is our exclusive recipe, if you go on youtube and search PASTA PISTACHIO will see our recipe, as well as recommend you read the recipe of the Sicilian caponata that between ' another she forgot to write that not has been made to pay even though it was excellent!

Came to Sicily on a work trip to look up some new wines and was recommended this by a friend. This scenary outside the house was stunning, with amazing views of Etna and the surrounding hills. The welcoming in the B&B (although it was much more than this) was pleasant and friendly. We were taken to our room for the night. The room was lovely, very down to earth and well presented, my wife commented on how clean and tidy it was (she is a neat freak though). Our room looked straight towards Etna, which was a beautiiful view when the sun was setting, very romantic. For dinner we enjoyed a fantastic bottle of Nero Mascalese, a delicious Sicilian wine which we were recommened by the waiter Mario. My wife and I both had the antipasti starter (to save for a big main course) Which was a great selection of local Sicilain meats and cheeses with amazing fresh tomatoes. For our main courses she had the penne with pistachio (again Mario recommended) I was sceptical about it but my word it was fantastic! I chose the wild rabbit macarone, again simply devine the rabbit was cooked perfectly and the pasta was home made and wonderfully sauced!!!!! Amazing! Both courses were of a good size to we skipped dessert and had an espresso and a shot of Nero d'Avola grappa. After dinner we enjoyed the scenery with a small walk around the area and then returned to bed.We had to leave very early to catch a flight in the morning so couldnt have breakfast. However the chefs made us a small selection of cheese and breads to take with us free of charge.Couldnt have been happier with out stay here, just wish we had more time to enjoy it.
A journey through the flavors of Sicily in an atmosphere that tastes of tradition. A menu made of a few simple seasonal ingredients from the local region. Protosteria, a contemporary tavern to discover the Sicilian spirit around a dinner table.
everything from starter to desert make us happy, pistachio pasta, pistachio cake..., nice owners, they also speak little english, porcions are pretty big. Also monday when everything was closed they were open.

Since 1958 the restaurant "Il Fiorentino" - located near the Simeto river and the Nelson castle - works exclusively local foods and seasonal produce and freshness of the food. We are careful in selecting the best and most genuine products, we do not serve
It is the best pasta place we have tried during our time in Sicily. Truly recommendable - a traditional dish made of the local ingredients and home made pasta... After the first round of pasta we were actually discussing having another round of pasta. The three Dollar-Signs as price indication are a bit much. A perfect pasta for 8⬠is very affordable.

Just good food options in this unpretentious shop for local specialities. For a huge plate of local appetisers with bread, wine and coffee we spent 12.50 euros in total... we almost felt guilty to pay so little. The guys working there were also very friendly and chatty. We liked the whole experience a lot!

I loved the food! I had the ravioli and the pasta with sausage and finocchio selvatico, the pistacchio bruschette, the grilled meat. I loved everything. Price was good and the owners were very nice. Only one thing, watch out for the steep stairs!!!!
