I am a little embarrassed dining alone in Italy so I asked for a quiet table, i just wanted to eat some good food. It was 8pm a little later than I would have liked. I asked the waitress, Anna, who was very kind, what was some good seafood. She said the monkfish. I was leaning towards the spaghetti with shellfish. But i took her advice. First off, it came too quickly. It had a dried out look to it. It did not taste great. I kept eating it, trying to like it. It was awful. This restaurant came highly recommended. I can only assume they did not like wimen dining alone. They forgot my salad, and never asked if i wanted dessert. I'm in my 60s, wear a wedding ring, looked at my phone head down the whole time .I took some take out from their competitors two nights (ago turn left at the harbour) and it was finger licking good. Hi, we are very sorry about what happened, certainly your description does not reflect our way of working! Just look at all the positive reviews weâve received. In your case, I donât know what could have happened to make you evaluate our restaurant so negatively! In doubt we apologize for what happened and hope to see you again soon to reassess your experience!

Secca 48 -Delightful small restaurant with A menu of sea or land and vegetarian meals. We chose the home-made pasta dish with green beans and small tomatoes-Simply delicious! Then we tried the Octopus grilled, served with lettuce and baby tomatoes with soft cheese- so tasty. For sweets I tried the ice cold dark chocolate desert filled with Chantilly cream on a biscuit base- My husband ordered the famous tiramisu-Super!! Finished off with 2 espresso with grappa. Also started the meal with 2 Aperol s. The service was excellent and prompt. The staff also spoke enough English to communicate although with my ItalianI got by. Definitely an up and coming restaurant in Brindisi. We will return for another meal before we leave.

Numero Primo is Tenute Rubino's wine bar on the magnificent Brindisi waterfront, recently renovated. We are located in one of the most beautiful sea views in Italy, the perfect place to sample the whole range of Tenute Rubino wines and enjoy gourmet dishe
Numero Primo is a waterfront restaurant set up to showcase the Rubino familyâs wine cellar. We had lunch there included with the cellar visit, a very good idea indeed. The setting is fantastic, with a relaxing view of the newly renovated waterfront. Our lunch consisted of local specialty dishes with the corresponding wines, five in our case. The English-speaking server explained each dish and wine, and was very patient with our (many) questions. We arranged the entire visit beforehand, by emailing the cellar. Anna, who handles these arrangements in English, was very responsive; everything was handled smoothly and seamlessly, providing us with a great experience. This initiative should be praised because it highlights Pugliaâs wine and food in the best way possible. Kudos to the Rubino family! As a side note, prior to us contacting Tenute Rubino, we tried to book a visit at another, more famous, vineyard, which was not available for visits during our time in Puglia. Their loss, our gain. If you are visiting Brindisi, make sure you book a visit to Tenute Rubino with the lunch pairing. It is worth it on so many levels.

My boyfriend and I ate here after a late flight on our first night of our Puglian adventure. We didn't know it was the 2nd best restaurant in Brindisi (at time of writing). We had been recommended the square and went to the busiest restaurant. There is no menu - you go inside, order the cuts of meat you want (we had belly pork, spicy sausage and pork/bacon things which was enough for 2) and wait at a table outside. They had patio heaters so if your slightly out of season and it's a wee bit chilly you can still enjoy al-fresco. The meat was lovely...can't fault it at all. We guessed the price before the billl came to be almost double what it actually was - shows what this sort of food would be worth in the UK. Very reasonable and friendly staff. Brilliant welcome to Puglia.

Bella struttura vicino al cinema di Brindisi. Parcheggio, struttura accogliente. La carne presente nel menu' è ottima, ben cucinata e tenerissima ad un prezzo veramente competitivo. E' possibile acquistare un menu che comprende anche il biglietto per il cinema. Servizio nella norma e cordialità . Consigliato

We recently went with a group of six people on a Saturday. Saturdays are alway busy so important that you book a table in advance. We had 3 of the house antipasti for 6 people and a fondu dish to start. We shared salad, potatoes and one (1 kg) tomahawk steak that was carved table side and finished to your liking on a hot stone in the middle of the table. Good wine selection. Everyone was well fed. We will certainly return.Thank you for your lovely feedback. We wait you soon!
