My mom and I (Americans), visited this restaurant at the spur of the moment. It looked inviting without being too crowded.Likes:(1) SERVICE: We were greeted and seated by JOHN within seconds of entering!(2) MENU: Selection is varied....... pizza, sandwiches, fries, salads.(3) SEATING: Plentiful, both outdoor patio and indoor. Nice cozy, wood-burning heater inside.(4) PRICE: Very reasonably priced.Dislikes: None

Good for a quick bite. The whole street is full of places to snack so you are spoilt for choice.Bit expensive.

The restaurant is kind of unique in that it is housed in an old Container box. There is second story eating area on top of the container which I thought was pretty cool. Beef souvlaki was really succulent and good along with authentic Tzatziki sauce. It reminded me of gyros and souvlaki I had in Greece several years ago.Staff were kind and friendly! Really enjoyed eating at this awesome Greek joint in Maboneng!

Schwarma & Grill, Mediterranean an Middle Eastern Cuisine
The restaurant was full (good for business, tricky for service) so we had quite long waits to get served and also some rather long breaks between food delivery. We mistakenly ordered the Mediterranean Platter for 4 (we were 5) and the tables were far too small to accommodate the multitude of bowls and plates that were brought. The offerings were tasty but the lack of space made it an uncomfortable and squashed eating experience. The on-tap beers were sadly on the warm side and we all had various degrees of âbathroom emergenciesâ in the night. Possibly just bad luck on a bad day.

It was a weekday so not busy at all, the service was good and the food even more so, if you don't look out the window you could lie to yourself and believe you where in Istanbul for a little while. The portions are big and they serve complimentary salads. There's a butchery next door where you can purchase your meat or frozen manti as well as some authentic Turkish groceries Parking is on the road side and this area is not the safest so just be aware of your surroundings.

Resturants
A brightly lit, fast-paced, and very loud restaurant. We chose this restaurant based upon its reputation and were disappointed. Rather than an elegant and relaxing evening we were rushed the entire evening by an overly aggressive waiter who seemed to want to get rid of us as soon as possible. The food was only average. One example would be the grilled kingclip that had no indication of being grilled. There were no grill marks nor flavor. Overall, our visit was quite disappointing.

Run by the Da Cunha Family.
Fun ambiance and service superb. That doesnât make up for fact fish was rubbery and not properly cooked. Seasoning was uneventful. Hoped for more peri peri taste although they had sauce in table. Not the same as grilled with sauce. Liver starter excellent. Also excellent security getting in and out from street. Sketchy neighborhood way off the grid. Take taxi not safe.

We had the most wonderful experience at this restaurant in the large shopping complex! Our server( and I am very sorry I don't remember his exact name..Linius?.. definitely began with " L") was SOO attentive and made some great suggestions including wine. The food was impeccable..we tried a large assortment and all was AMAZING!!! We enjoyed our meal so much we went back for dinner the following night..not only because of food but server. Prices were reasonable and a nice ambiance . Also, the manager was very kind and greeted us and had a pleasant discussion both times. If you are looking for a dinner with fantastic food reasonably priced, attentive and knowledgeable staff, Fishmonger is the place! You will not be disappointed!
