Amazing food. Good wine list to choose from. A very attentive service by the employees. The desert was also remarkably tasty. Nice environment. The experience was so good we returned the next day to try other dishes. And it never disappointed! It might not be the cheapest place around, but it is worth the money spent.
Beautiful relaxing space, warming and welcoming staff with amazing dishes to warm everyones hearts.
Best gezellig, wordt nog binnen gerookt. Jammer maar niet onoverkomelijk. De zaak wordt gerund door een jonge meid die alles ziet, snel is een houdt van service geven. Praat alleen Portugees. Eten is goed, grote porties

A very friendly typical portuguese restaurant where local dishes are a speciality. Our Portuguese is rubbish but we were welcomed in English and the menu was explained in detail to us. I would recommend the traditional Migas and a bottle of local wine unless you're driving.I would like to go bak there for dinner as I think it would be even better.

Situado na zona histórica de Vila Viçosa , com a melhor comida tÃpica da região. Também tem saladas e pizzas deliciosas. Tem sobremesas conventuais.
with great variety of tasty items. The pizza is quite good, although we were admiring the various kabobs that were delivered to other tables. Reasonably priced, and service was good. Nice seating outdoors, donât know if the inside atmosphere is as pleasing.

I've been in this restaurant several times and they provide consistent quality traditional food. It's probably one of the best restaurants in the area.

with the customers being a blend of tourists and locals. Wide variety of menu items. Reasonably priced considering location. The food was tasty and the wine and beer options were several. Service was a bit lacking
We had various lunches and petiscos in this restaurant. Every choice was very very tasty, great wine and excellent service.Strongly recommend if you are nearby to taste real Alentejo.

What a wonderful dining experience! We were with a group and had the tasting menu. The service was outstanding as was the food. Creative presentation and great taste. What more could you ask for? The hotel and dining room are lovely - modern, understated elegance.

We did not book and luckily secured the last table....the restaurant is small but delightful inside. Service was very slow but once your turn came for ordering it was OK. The owner was very knowledgeable about the food being served and the wines; mostly from his own family estate. We were able to try the wines before making a choice. The food was very good and we enjoyed the whole experience!

Really cannot recommend highly enough. We were looked after by a lovely lady who ran through the menu with us. We had a delicious tomato soup with interesting bits of cured meats and crisped pork rinds. Then the chicken and rabbit dishes. Both stewed, slightly crisped from the oven and both full of flavour. That came with fried potatoes and a large fresh salad. We also drank a local white wine for â¬8 which tasted blind I would of paid â¬30 for and still would of been happy. The lady then kindly let us 3 local spirits to taste. Amazing hospitality to first time diners. The price of all this? â¬31!!! Go there.
