We came here with family who love this place and kept boasting about it but after having the food I don't see what the big deal is.We ordered bife de casa which was meant to be like a bitoque (steak eggs chips salad and rice) and whilst the accompaniments were ok the steak was not. No garlic no salt no flavour it was just a steak that had been fried or grilled in olive oil and that's it.I tried a different dish where u cook the meat yourself and again same problem.The lamb chops were by far the best and IF I had to return (praying I dont) then that's what I shall be ordering.The place is loud and crowded and the food is best for people who like bland mush.Would I recommend? No way!Would I return? Only if dragged kicking and screaming

Quiet restaurant in the main street of Cacilhas, near Almada. Friendly service, good food, especially fish or seafood. Really good.

Pela primeira vez fiquei particularmente agradado com o local . Arejado de aspecto limpo e organizado e com uma ementa óptima. Optámos por sugestão do Chef por umas enguias fritas (fresquÃssimas) com um Arroz de grelos divinal . Gostámos muito e com toda a certeza vamos voltar. Serviço muito simpático e eficaz. Local único na cidade do Barreiro. Recomendo vivamente.

Restaurant serves great variety of quality traditional dishes. Portions are large so one meal is enough for two not so hungry bellies...service was a bit on the slow side but it was busy when we went. We had to ask for something twice as it was forgotten.

Nice cosy restsurant, friendly staff (apart from one), very expensive for some dishes though. We went as a treat on our last night hoping for a great meal as it is pricy but the sirloin steak was nothing special I was expecting much better from here in fact I had better steak in cheaper restaurants in Cascais. At first it was undercooked to my liking (I don't think they heard me say medium/well but the waiter seemed to be in a rush to take the order), so I had to send it back, although they did then kindly bring me fresh chips without asking. But the steak had no taste no sauce or seasoning and came with a bit of salad rather than veg, it was disappointing and bland. However drinks were good and the young waiter who let us try different aperitifs was very nice and helpful and I'm sure the fish dishes are great, my friend was happy with hers. Worth a try nice atmosphere and cosiness in this place.

The last experience at this restaurant did not go very well. The feeling is that it was already better, although currently be bigger and be more spacious. I do not want to return, and I regret that because it was a reference in the city.

Option to visit on Valentine's Day and was one good experience of Italian food. Whether the entries, both dishes were delicious. The decision passed by the Calzone and Linguini Nonna. The place is nice and aprecciate the service, a great sympathy which I must thank. Try it!

Amazing food, and price/quality!!! Huge portions of really good food, the pilafi rice and baked potatoes are a delicacy, but also the meat is very delicious (my favorite is th bifteki filled with feta cheese). Very nice baklava too! Take the daily menu, that is only 7.5⬠for a main dish, dessert and drink!!! (you can even choose wine...)
