Well...i cannot say anything more than this our favourite Vicenza hills place...home made pasta...tartufo specialist...and also meat... Brother and sister (Elena) are just loving there job providing you the same feelings in the dishes... Honestly I don't know how many times I've been enjoying it...and how many people I suggested it.The outdoors scenario is the top...tables and quite green view.I find it a very well balanced quality price relationship Vi ringraziamo per la recensione. E' una grande soddisfazione sapere che vi siete trovati bene. Ci auguriamo di riavervi ospiti in futuro: fa stare bene anche noi quando abbiamo in casa dei clienti che si trovano bene! This lovely trattoria is located in Longare, some 10 km away from Vicenza. It proved to be worth the ride from Vicenza. Note that the restaurant has plenty of parking space. We were offered a table in the charming, older area of the restaurant, with a wood-beamed ceiling and a large stone fireplace. The trattoria offers large portions of local area dishes. As starter I took a lovely gnocchi al tartuffo nero dei colli and my wife went for a tagliolini ai funghi porcini. As main dish I opted for the tagliata di manzo alla ruccola, she took a petto di pollo. Both simple, but well prepared, tasteful dishes. The contorni di stagioni we ordered as a side dish appeared to be a three plate offering of vegetables, which was a bit too much I must admit. We finished our dinner with a nice tiramisu.Together with a quarter liter of red wine and a bottle of water, we paid .... ⬠61! That's what I call excellent value for the money. Conclusion: excellent address for a tasteful dinner when you're in Vicenza.

Absolutely delicious meal! Zucchini flowers for me and escargot for my husband as starters. Spaghetti in duck sauce and fettuccine in rabbit sauce for the next course, and duck for the main meal (with potatoes, onions and green beans). We topped it all off with the most delicious chocolate torte and ice cream dessert ever! Portions were generous and price was extremely reasonable for this amount of food. The staff was very helpful and a couple of them spoke excellent English. Selection of wines, single malt whiskey and blended whiskeys was extensive and reasonably priced. Atmosphere was very nice too. Best to make reservations...it can get very full! There is parking right next to the Trattoria. We highly recommend you try this culinary delight if you are in the area. You won't be sorry.

The owner of our holiday apartment in Arcugnano recommended Trattoria Zamboni and I had also read about it before travelling to Italy.Go for lunch to see the view out to the trees above the lake from this elegant, stylish restaurant. We had Gnocchi with fresh herbs, Asparagus soup, Duck with strawberries and balsamic vinegar and Young Rooster. The main courses came with fresh vegetables and cubed, roast potatoes. All of the dishes were delicious and made from excellent ingredients. My husband had mixed gelati for dessert and I had a really good tisane made from liquorice, anise and fennel. It came with some tiny sweetmeats. Everything on the menu was tempting and we had great trouble choosing what to have. For the meal, two glasses of wine, bread and grissini , we paid 67 Euros which was a very fair price for this excellent meal.

One of the best restaurants in the Veneto. Great salumi (some home made) to begin, then some of the best homemade pasta around, followed by unique dishes like baby goat liver or fantastic grilled meats, that are brought to the table before cooking. Deserts are also excellent, my favorite being orange ice cream with orange sauce. The restaurant also has an excellent wine list. I have been going there for 10 years and the food is consistently excellent.

We dined at Giuliano Baldessari's (former sous chef at Le Calandre) recently opened restaurant after reading and hearing several enthusiastic comments. The restaurant has modern and minimalist furniture and let the guest stare at the brigade, since there isn't any wall dividing the kitchen from the dining room.Even though there are several matching points with Le Calandre (no tablecloths, focus on food lightness and low fats, informal service), Aquacrua has already its own character and I'm sure it will very soon gain the fame it deserves. All the dishes we tasted has impressed our palates as well as our sight and smell, carpaccio with oysters, fake pasta (celeriac), pigeon, sorbetto, it's very hard to pick a dish that really stand out, because all of them would fit in a 3 Michelin star menu. The wine pairings, proposed by Gloria, accompanied harmonically the food, with some very good choices like Manincor. Our advice? Go there before it gets seriously hard to book a table.
