an authentic Nubian restaurant and guesthouse that offers a spectacular view on the Nile river and great authentic Nubian food in a Nubian decoration . during your experience there you will be served by a Nubian waiter and you will find books about the Nu
We went for a late lunch around sunset and it was really nice. We ordered beef and it came with potato, two salads, and the Nubian bread (sun bread and another one that I didnât catch the name but looks like crepe). Staff were friendly and the view was amazing. Maybe next time we spend a day or two there.

I rather liked this restaurant. It's a double-story barge anchored to the bank of Nile, with good views of the endlessly fascinating river traffic. The whole barge lists a bit to one side, which gives it an authentically quaint feel, I suppose. Lights are dim at night which makes the atmosphere seem more intimate than some of the competing barge-restaurants. I thought the food here was better than average. Also, this is one of the few restaurants in Aswan that serves alcohol. A nice spot for an informal snack or an after dinner drink, with the Nile gliding by.
The restaurant locates in the new Mövenpick Hotel of Aswan which was inaugurated in 2016. It's reasonably good and the food portions are sufficient, although the menu was not really diversed.Price is relatively higher than normal restaurants due to being located in a touristic venue, although not very high (ex. : I dined there yesterday with a friend and we paid 1000 EGP).Overall, the place is recommended for other visitors.

We had noticed itâs absence, from the menu, on our previous visits, so we ordered it the day before as we had done previously. This restaurant will go out of their way to accommodate any special dietary requirements. All you have to do is ask, but it is only fair to give them some advance warning.Whilst a National dish, regions seem to have their own variations, theirs resembling that from Khoshary Goha in Sohag, where, apart from the rice & pasta, everything else is in separate dishes for you to add as you want. Recommended! (and v-e-r-y filling!!!)Service was, as expected, very attentive, without being oppressive.

Hi everybody,If u come to Aswan try to have a meal in a nice local restaurant.Near railway station is small Abdeli tahrir , street with this name. In the middle of this street is entrance in Abeer restoran. There you can be served by local meat specialty.
We had dinner here twice and itâs best to stick to the least processed dishes like shish kebab, which they make using beef or chicken. They donât serve much lamb, and the oven roasted lamb shank we tried was a bit dry and not as good as the shish kebab. They also make lots of kofta, using minced beef and itâs not bad, though not as good as the ones made with lamb. The tahini dip and salads are complimentary and were ok; the bread is fresh. They are also reasonably priced, about 300-350 Egyptian pounds for two people; and the service is great once they get to know you. Tip about 10 % to make them happy and look after you on your next visit. The location is in the gritty part of town, but most of Aswan is gritty so just take in the experience and enjoy the food.
Nubian kitchen is rich with its recipes, but unfortunately these recipes are not commonly used right now among Nubians and started to disappear. Our aim was to establish a Nubian restaurant that provide only Nubian cuisine with old and new recipes. The re
Solaih is on a Nubian Island in an unbelievable setting overlooking Phialea Temple. Food is perfect and best food in whole of Aswan and South Egypt. The only problem is you will definitely put on weight.Breakfast items are great. Lunch and dinner is very nice and great value for money.Beach is great for swimming and for day use.ECO Nubia where the restaurant is located has very nice rooms and is reasonably priced.I decided this is my place in the winter for relaxing and spending nice time.

We just finished a meal at the Nubian restaurant, which had been recommended by our guide. Its island location is easy of access through a local motor boat. We had a spread of different dips and each tasted the Nubian version of tajine (clay pot dish). The flavours were subtle and not too spicy. The two kinds of bread were scrumptious. Mango is in season, so I indulged in freshly squeezed mango juice for dessert. The place pays attention to cleanliness, and the staff is more than friendly. You cannot go wrong with this reasonably priced dinner ($40US for 3). The view of the river is also peaceful.

The approach to the restaurant was very putting off. We climbed a flight of stairs and there was litter all around. Some had been collected and left lying in a pile there. The food thereafter was less than mediocre. The service staff were good and they tried hard to please.
