Old fashioned, vintage restaurant and hostel in Arbúcies... One can enjoy the food without having further expectations. Correct menu and good courses, excellent price. One can find the decoration eclectic and not really matching the rest of the building. Good and fact service. An option if you want to spend the day in Arbúcies and make the most of the day after walking in the mountain.

It was not a planned trip but ending up in Arbucies at 3pm on a warm October Saturday meant it was time for lunch. La Trona was our first choice but an estimated 45 minute wait for a table took us across the road to RallyWhile La Trona was heaving, Rally was not ... A warning sign in itself. Assigned a table , we were presented the menu ... A choice of 2 set menus and that was it - no a la carte options - while the cheapest set menu was not a very cheap 19 Euro a head. We duly ordered , enjoyed an excellent on the house appetiser and then waited and waited ... First courses were ok, but it was over an hour from first sitting down for the " uninspiring " main courses to arrive ... Not the best when you have young childrenThe homemade Turron ice cream did at least finish the meal on a high but overall this was an average restaurant with tediously slow service and not very good value for money . Arbucies itself was dull so we are unlikely to return but if we do, for sure Rally won't be on our agenda
Celebramos un aniversario de cumpleaños en este rincón de Arbucies. Todos, al unÃsono, disfrutamos con los platos que escojimos; caracoles, canelones, bacalao, ...Y qué decir de su vino novell!!Para volver, sin duda.

Typical Catalan food restaurant, Speciality in grilled meats and menus for groups. Cuina casolana i de kilometro cero.
Many years ago this restaurant was incredibly good with great lamb and fresh trout from their little trout farm. The situation of the restaurant is charming under tall trees and "away from it all". The last visit we made was some years ago and the food was terrible. Yesterday, we arrived in trepidation - the road or rather carriageway, being sand, was in a frightful state due to the recent heavy rains and a serious problem for our little car. It was clear that there was no one else there, but the owner/manager came out to greet us and we said we would like to eat. There was no daily menu but a weekend menu at 24.95 was offered. We decided to eat from the carte and indeed it was not cheap, but when the food started to arrive it was very good "country style" food and well cooked with good portions. There was only house wine available and it was typical of this type of restaurant, sweet, but quite drinkable. The general consensus was that we had had a good meal and we enjoyed coffee outside plus the inevitable chupita. This restaurant could be great again with good marketing and a little more care and attention. I found myself thinking that (having had bar/restaurants myself) it had obvious possibilities. Do try it, but not if you are looking for elegance or a cheap daily menu.

I went there with a couple of friends and I didn´t expect experiencing such a great catalan food in the middle of the Montseny natural park. Small familiar restaurant, it offers a pleasant view over the Maresme territory (north coast of Barcelona). The service and food taste was excelent. Totally recommended.

Staff accommodating, didn't speak English very well, but we are in Spain after all. We had the set menu, was slightly more expensive than you would expect in the uk. My son had the Cod, this was delicious and value for money. Nice area.

Ended here on a busy day and were pleasantly surprised. Good service, excellent food. Maybe a bit expensive, but worth it.

We decided to try this restaurant after reading the opinions in Trip advisor and we felt deceived because of the quality of the food. The attention received was very good, the place is just an average one, but the food is more than improvable, especially the rice and bread. The wine was awful and the coffee just an average one.

This restaurant delivers when it comes to imaginative and modern Mediterranean cuisine â a foaming cappuccino that isnât really coffee, but instead a sweet-potato soup; a frozen ice-cream-like tomato that bursts in your mouth; an award-winning gin-and-tonic dessert that tastes just as colorful as it looks. All in all, definitely a Michelin-star-worthy foodie spot.

Arbucias is not exactly a place you would expect to find a high quality, gastronomic tapas place. Mams offers a delightful combination of casual setting, wonderful and unusual tapas with high quality regional wines. All this and quite reasonable costs with excellent and well informed service. Well worth the visit if you are in the area.
