Family meal with my wife and 4 children. Staying at the Marriott so this is an easy 10 minutes away. Lots of choice in the square at Llucmajor but a lot is distinctly touristy. Not so here. A genuinely pleasant experience with freshly prepared, interesting dishes from an encouragingly limited menu - always a worry if there is a vast choice. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Booking essential.
Carnes a la brasa, cocina mallorquina, cócteles, heladerÃa, tartas, tes, grande terraza con barbacoa y música, barbacoa interiores y chimenea
Both starters and entrees were of very good quality and at very adjusted price. Service is friendly and always trying their best to serve. The owner made sure we had enough food and were happy to come back regularly which weâll sure do!!!Highly recommended.

Probably very busy in the summer, as itâs still pretty popular in December!Itâs no wonder why, the views are absolutely stunning. Sometimes restaurants in places like this donât make an effort because they donât need to. These guys donât rely on their location alone; the food and service are as superb as the views. Quite a magical experience.

The location is a little awkward: the restaurant lies more or less on the motorway between Palma and Manacor - about 4 km away from Algaida (actually it reminds me of the lady that use to have the restaurant next to a gas station on the highway by Lllucmajor). The interior is welcoming yet not really cosy. Also - if there a not so many tables taken - it seems a little big. I think the terrace in summer will be problematic: watching the cars go by with 100 km/h...Anyway - letâs talk about the most important thing: the food. And here we find a chef which certainly knows what to do. It lookes to us as if the team is very small - but the different courses were all excellent. You can tell that the years with Marc Fosh made him a very professional and highly creative chef. Especially the starters were awesome: fried artichokes with foie and mussles in a safran sauce - mmhh! (The bread is really great as well - very french - we missed to ask if they sell us some). At the moment I would say is one of the best kitchens on the island (and we try a lot). We went the night before to Adrian Quetglas - and I must say that I the food was at the same level (not as decorated and stylish - but quality and taste matched the Quetglas).Prices are surprisingly reasonable. The wine list could be a little more extensive and also offer some more elaborated wines - the food deserves it!All in all a very positive experience and we will be back very soon!

Mallorcan cuisine family restaurant. Open for over 20 years, we have long experience and our goal is to bring the typical cuisine to majorcans and foreigners who visit our island. We have a close service and a simple presentation typical of a Cellar, perf
Arrived early and were the only customers but the staff were more than happy to serve us a good cold beer , one on my list for a revisit when I have more time !

Do your friends appreciate what you cook but your home kitchen is no longer enough for you? Do you want to celebrate a different birthday by organizing a cooking competition with your friends? Do you want to cook with a professional chef? Do you want to s
Wow! Normally Iâm difficult to say âwowâ, but this place is totally amazing ! The place is so beautiful and elegant, atmosphere relaxing; food is close to be, up to me, presented for a star Michelin, thereâs a research for taste that impressed me, so delicate but tasty all dishes; service is very good, chef comes to explain you everything about what is possible to eat. They have as well kinda shop with few, elegant things to sell. What a place !

Mallorcan family business founded in 1961 that is based on 2 shifts. The first lasts 14 days and the second seven Please consult the calendar as it changes the menu, the prices and the management.
We first visited Hostal Algaida 12 years ago and have visited several times since. Itâs is a beautiful traditional in that has been maintained in its original condition. Check out the ladies toilet!!!This is the place to visit if you want real Majorcan food. The Tumbet is fabulous. I am not particularly adventurous when it comes to the food traditions of the island but I have never been disappointed nor have the friends we have introduced to the Hostal. Amazing range of desserts too. This is proper :Majorca. Good service, good ambience, good food. Immaculately maintained, If you want to experience the real Majorca this place has to be a priority to visit

I was first taken to this place well, lets just say decades ago !! in the 1970's. The place hasn't changed (apart from having Wifi). Went last week for a family birthday. We almost always have the same shared food choices. That is, Sopas Mallorquina (I think that is my favourite), Fritio, Blood sausage (2 types) a bowl of snails and to follow Lamb Chops. All cooked on the grill in the corner of the room. We always start with a plate of P'am Boli, toasted of course, with tomatoes, and olive oil. You have to just have the one piece or you won't make dessert !! If I have room, I always have their home made Almond ice cream, usually I have it with a shot of vodka (I know, that's what I thought too, but try it, you won't regret it!!), but as I was driving I had just the ice cream, which is still great. With the coffeet they bring two bottles (sweet and dry) of their home made Hierbas. The trick is to mix a bit of both, and enjoy with a coffee (or two) when not driving. The wine, unless you chose a bottle they will bring you a jug of to be honest a bit basic white or red wine, which is improved by adding gaseosa, The place has been run by the same families for years, and is hugely popular with locals and tourists alike. If you go on a Sunday you will have to book or wait for a table. Is it 'Authentic' (Rough and Ready), yes. The food is basic but well cooked from quality local ingredients, and from meat suppliers close to the restaurant that also are the same for decades. There are I am sure many similar places, but I have been coming to this one forever and apart from the prices (which are still low) it hasn't changed. If you want a genuine experience of Mallorca, this is as real as it gets, at least as a dining experience. Try it. You might get hooked too!

Visited for lunch on the last Wednesday in October, arrived as it opened and was predictably quiet, by the time we left it was packed, obviously a popular restaurant with the locals.Grilled meats are the speciality and the suckling lamb, sucking pig and Iberico tenderloin were all superb. Very friendly welcome and attentive service throughout.May not have time this week, but will definitely return on my next visit to Mallorca.
