Woven with wild greenery and Gaelic legends, the Emerald Isle is one of Europe’s most prized jewels. Rugged Atlantic beaches and mystery-shrouded sites rub shoulders with the cosmopolitan cities of Belfast and Dublin, where literary history and warm Irish hospitality are always in abundance.

Cork Harbour Boats operate from the historic town of Cobh, which commands panoramic views of Cork Harbour - one of the finest natural and well sheltered harbours in the world.
Great crack out on these. Boats are a little slow but good fun. Great views of Cobh. Lads running it are good, give you a very good run out in the harbor, spike island , docked Irish navy ships.

There are places you visit that make such an impression and this is one of those. After a beautiful drive along the coast road you turn the corner and see this wonderful little village framed against cliffs and bright green grass of farms. Wonderful spot to just sit and absorb the scenery from every angle. Highly recommended

Took a walk around the harbour and on past the apartments in the hope of seeing seals. They were there, hauled out on rocks. One was quite close by, and at least three more were way off in the distance. From the faces I guess they were harbour = common seals. The nearest eventually shuffled down into the water and swam away, to cheers and applause from the crowd. Even if there are no seals to watch its a decent walk. There's the Windrose if you want to eat. Great view of the Knockagh Monument off on a hilltop. The walk is free. Lots of free car parks nearby for the cinema and Sainsbury's.

Carlingford Marina is a 170 berth marina on the coastal inlet of Carlingford Lough. Carlingford Marina is a safe haven for visiting boats, providing a much needed stop over between ports in Dublin and Belfast. Carlingford Marina also offers 8 self catering apartments to visitors by sea or by land. Each apartment can sleep up to 5 people - has its own kitchen, living area and bathroom - and awards its guests with spectacular, panoramic views out over the marina, the lough, and the mountains either side.
A good stopping off point at the top of the east coast. Unless you have a good motor make sure to get past Greenore before the ebb tide starts flowing. Berths are good value for a yacht and also ashore for a camper van. Expect a warm welcome in Rabelo Bistro when you get ashore. The village is a short walk, but make sure to cross the main road and go by the old road into the town.

Everyone who works at Malahide Marina is helpful and friendly. The facilities are quite good. The marina is only a short walk from the heart of the town with a variety of pubs and restaurants to choose from. It is also on the DART line, so you can reach Dublin quite easily.

On the banks of Lough Neagh in County L'Derry Ballyronan Marine has a Mobile Caravan Park, Playground, Nature walk, around the Marina Children's Park and Community Centre, which can be hired out for functions ie Weddings, Club Dinners and has an alcohol licence for such occasions. The short walk through a nature park and around the marine is very pleasant and you can spot varies birds from Swan's to Blue Tits, although I would not advice going in May as this is when the May Flies hatch and can been seen from a distance like smoke in the sky. Ther is a picnic area and a children's play park and a sandy area that is at the edge of Lough Neagh.

You should take a boat ride in Dingle Marina, just sit back and relax! We will be overwhelmed with the sheer beauty of the place. Added attraction will be glimpse of Fangie, the resident Dolphin! Otherwise also it will remain as a memorable trip!
