Jibril is hidden behind Sangkaya ,an ice cream joint famous for local flavours like coconut, dao fu fa, asam boi and teh ice to name a few. Famous for salted egg buttermilk chicken and arrays of non-alcoholic drinks with name like Saloma, potter for butter beer, nojito and mockarita. Get crowded even if it’s 3pm on weekdays. Very trendy and their salted egg buttermilk is no joke.

We choose to have the buffer lunch dimsum. Some were tasty, majority of them but a few misses. Took a while for the dishes to come. Soup especially took a long time.Wish the selection was bigger. Ended up not being a dim sum lunch but a full Chinese meal. Prawns were tasty.Come early and give lots of time for them to prepare the food.Dear Adeline T, thank you for choosing to dine at our Emperor Chinese restaurant. While we appreciate the positive comments made on the food served, we have also noted your feedback on the slow service. We are indeed concerned to hear of this unpleasant experience and sincerely apologize for the shortfall in our service standards. Please be assured that we will address this issue immediately. Thank you for your patronage and we do look forward to being of service to you again.Regards,Christina Toh, Area General Manager

Excellent well established seafood restaurant near old airport. The place is now well refurbished into modern design. The food quality yet remains good, no wonder it's packed all the time. Lala clam in slightly spicy broth was excellent. Steam fish with soya sauce also recommended. Ice lettuce salad was incredibly refreshing. Good wine list available.

This is a typical neighbourhood dimsum that have nothing to shout about, except for its Portuguese egg tarts. Not sure or don't understand why the long queue during weekends, or during peak hours! If you don't like the queue, perhaps just takeaway the tarts and enjoy at home. This is really not a place for dimsum, when the other hungry crowds are waiting for you to just make way for them after the long wait.

The restaurant won an official title of Best Malaysian Restaurant and it indeed is. This is very much a trip in itself as it is located in the university campus quite far from the city centre (your trip could easily take over 1,5 hours in case you travel in the normal evening rush hour). There are only two set menus to choose from, I would recommend the largest one. Portions are small and you would not overeat anyway.Service is excellent, but be prepared no petit fours before or sweets after you've finished your menu. Also once you've finished the restaurant staff shows no interest to you any more. Also almost 75 % of the wine list was missing so we had to choose from very few remaining titles. However I would still highly recommend the place as it is truly different from any other KL restaurant.
