Reviews on Malaysian food in Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia. The cultural hub of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur is visually defined by the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, which, at 88 stories high, are the tallest twin buildings in the world and a vision of modern architecture. On the flip side, the Sri Mahamariamman is the oldest Hindu temple in Malaysia, its façade a colorful totem pole of iconography. Shopping at the Central Market is a joyful experience that involves haggling, handicrafts, and happiness.

One of the best all-day dining restaurants in Kuala Lumpur, Mosaic serves a delicious mix of local and international cuisine, complemented by interactive live cooking stations and a large dessert bar. Presented in cast iron pans, woks and copper pots or s
First of all, it is a 5-Star Hotel restaurant which serve good quality food especially must try their beef and lamb cuisine at the Middle-East section, it just tasted great. The restaurant just located in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel which just right beside the Suria KLCC Mall. They will ask you in advance if there is any special occasion when you make your reservation. It was my wife's birthday celebration and thanks to all waiters and waitress who make their effort to prepare a special cake for my wife birthday. Food and dessert quality is good but not fantastic level which I had experienced from some others KL 5-Star Hotel. Besides, the buffet spread is not wide, With the price I paid, I expected wider variety of food. However, their service is top notch and the dining is great too. Price is RM280 for 2 pax with Citibank card discount, 20% if I recall correctly.

I went to Intai Intai for lunch during a short layover in Kuala Lumpur. The food is just amazing. Staff is very friendly, the pricing is VERY good and I loved the interior! I could really tell the owner has a heart for this restaurant and the staff is very willing to give you an excellent dining experience. I ordered the seafood Tom Yam and asked if they could prepare it a little less spicy and that was no problem at all! I will definitely come back during my next visit to KL. Thanks again for the nice lunch:)We are pleased that you could visit us during your short layover. Thank you for your compliments about the interior and of course we like to see you again during a next layover in Kuala Lumpur. We hope you can try more of our dishes. Best regards Intai Intai.

Nasi kandar is a popular northern Malaysian dish, which originates from Penang. It is a meal of steamed rice served with a variety of curries and side dish
We visited around 7pm on a Saturday en route to the Masjid India area. The restaurant was quiet and we were quickly served. The range of products on the menu is huge so makes choosing more difficult, but the three dishes we finally chose were all excellent. As the restaurant is large, it seemed quite empty, but that is not an issue for us. The meal was good value as well, so an enjoyable experience.

1) Restaurant & Ambience- located on 1st floor, restaurant is huge and there's many seats available. So, it doesnt feel cramp. Ambience is good because it is modern and bright. Air cond is also good - not too hot not too cold. Suitable to have group party or just casual dining with family & friends.2) Buffet Dinner- food choices is good- quite a lot of seafood option- majoity of the dishes tasted very nice and fresh- there's seafood on ice, cold cuts, salad bar, hot food dishes (chinese, malay, indian, western), satay, pizza, soup, noodle station, dessert, cheese section, ice cream, fruits, coffee machine and 4 types of juices/infused water.3) ServiceVery friendly service and good service overall4) Birthday Cake- they also prepared a small birthday cake with sing-a-long for us as one of our friend is celebrating his birthday. Two thumbs up. - The red velvet cake is delicious too.Overall, I find the buffet dinner value for money and impressive. Highly recommended.

You can visit this place just for the ambience. It is really amazing. A huge choice of food of various cuisines. We were vegetarians, still we had enough to eat. Excellent service by the staff. The Indian chef there is a bit grumpy, he needs an attitude change, twice seen him behaving the same way, but having said that the pasta he made was very tasty. There is Indian vegetarian food also. The best part is the deserts, huge selection with a chocolate fountain, frozen yogurt with so many toppings, for those who love deserts you must visit. Was my wife's birthday and they wished her and gave a small cake also. Check for credit card offers or offers through Fave app where you can get 40 to 45% on the listed price which is ridiculously high. Would like to visit againDear harishbala, Warmest greetings and thank you for sharing your experience with us. It has been a pleasure to have you here, and we are delighted that you enjoyed the ambiance and food served, especially desserts and pasta! Having said that, we have noted on your recommendations for future improvements. We look forward to welcoming you back to Latest Recipe again soon!Best regards,Michael DelargyGeneral Manager

Introducing Opium KL! Established on 12th July 2014, this unique outlet focuses on Asian Oriental delights with a twist; such as Phoenix Dumpling, Fern Leaf Salad, Crispy Duck Noodles, Wagyu Beef Rendang, and the signature Beef Brisket & Tendon Stew just
We loved our meal at Opium. It is a little pricey for Malaysia but it was very good food and would happily pay twice what we paid in the U.K. It is a mix of Malaysian style with modern twist on it. The restaurant had a nice ambiance with a lady playing music and nice lighting. Our food was delicious and the service was great. Would definitely recommend. We had 4 beers, 2 mains and 2 starters for around 200rm. Hi WorkAroundTheWorld, it's such a pleasure serving you throughout the whole dining experience! Glad you had a good time here with the food, music and ambience that we have delivered just for our lovely diner's pleasure. Do come by when you're back in Kuala Lumpur again! Thank you for the lovely recommendation. :)

BETA journeys into four distinct regions of Malaysia demarcated as North, South, East and Central to bring a newly redefined gastronomic experience that embodies the hallmark palates of the different districts
For a restaurant of this calibre (and price) you woukld expect everything to be spot on. The food was, but the service wasn't up to the standard that I would expect. It wasn't bad, just not the sharp level from Skillet.Overall, I couldn't not give them a 5 rating.
