Great views, very cool rock formations to explore. I try to get there every year in the fall as a motorcycle ride with friends. Not to far outside of Warren Pa. and you get to see the dam as you are on your way. It's fun to walk around and see the huge rocks and the trees from the ground level. Good place to take kids to spend a few hours and enjoy nature.

We did a long bike from Kelly’s Run parking lot to Pinnacle and beyond. The Conistoga Trail is the perfect day-long home opportunity. Amazing scene - albeit some steep climbs. You need water and layered clothing (depending on the time of year) and good shoes. Rock scrambles happen.

Great hike for families! We stayed nearby, and checked this place out with our young toddler. Wide open space to run and take some photos of the river. There are benches at the top, so you can definitely picnic. Not much shade, so glad we went early morning!

...I've never been here before being in the Pittsburgh area over six months now. Grandview Avenue and this spot especially have the million dollar views of Pittsburgh. Well worth a trip to check out however you get here. I drove but I think you can take an incline or something like that from the city. Hey this park has a trail to the left of the statue that takes you into some nice wooded areas that too overlook the river and city. I hiked for about mile and came back to here on the city streets. It would have been nice to have someone to chat with when I walking around and enjoying the views. Hey, if I was Guyasuta talking to Washington in that statue, probably would get up and leave.

This is one of the best spots to have a view of the downtown area. The drive there is quite easy and parking isn’t too difficult to find.

You can get right up to this lighthouse. It's a nice walk on a concrete pier, no scrambling over big boulders on a breakwater wall. The tower isn't open but you can get great pictures.

Just over 100 steps to the top. Worth every one. Terrific view from the top especially on a fall day with the colors in full view. It’s a tight fit up the stairs. But they only allow so many up at one time. You can leave your name and as soon as someone comes down you can venture up. Only $7 for adults and you get a great view.
