Our hotel and the restaurant are opened from April to October, while they're closed for the winter break from november to march; even during the closing period we organize and welcome wedding receptions. During the opening period our Restaurant works ever
This hotel commands stunning views from some of its more expensive rooms but you also share the same views from the breakfast restaurant which doubles as the functions room. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean and serviceable but was 'dated'. Our table on the veranda was broken and had to be propped up against the wall to stop it falling over. The hotel commands above average prices as it has the stunning vista and a very good restaurant. It is worth a visit but has its shortcomings for the price, hence the mark of 'very good'
Nous avons trouvé les glaces artisanales absolument délicieuses. En plus l'équipe est sympa. Quelques tables permettent de déguster assis, ou de prolonger le balade de quelques mètres pour en profiter sur un banc face au lac.

Tuesday evening end of June , so moderately busy but service was still haphazard ! The scallops stated" no 4 "on the menu and the pictures confirm this but we only got 2 each so that was a rip off at 10 euros each starter portion. They were under Cooked and over covered in garlic breadcrumbs but not much cheese in sight. Hardly "au gratin". Very disappointing. Main courses were brought at intervals. My pasta with salmon and my friend's monkfish came first followed some 5 minutes later by the pizzas for our husbands. Calzone was bland and not full to the edges, pepperoni pizza saved the day !!! Not what we expected ! We were looking for a better standard of food and service and left feeling a bit put out after a 100 euro bill for a basic pasta/ pizza meal. We are not fussy by any standards but this experience did not live up to the recommendations on trip advisor.

Great views of the mainland eating delicious cheese & salami with crispy cold white wine !! I recommend the white wine I Frati Lugano 2015. Overall perfect way to recover from the 9 km round the island family ride on rented bicycles ;-)Un grazie per la gradita recensione ed un arrivederci a presto da Monte Isola e l'Isola dei sapori

Turned up here unannounced on Sunday after visiting the ''Floating Piers'' and there were 4 police motorbikes and 5 police cars in the car park. Always a good sign if the local constabulary eat at a restaurant. The view over Lake Iseo is spectacular and well worth the drive up the hill from Sulzano. The portions were overly generous, the food tremendously well done, the service lovely and the bill was very palatable. There is ample outdoor area too for the kids to run about in once they get bored of adult talk. Would STRONGLY recommend a visit here.

Zu is tucked away by the side of the winding road on the western shore of Lake Iseo. Blink and you will miss the entrance which is a pity because the views from the restaurant are spectacular as is the food, with fish being their specialty. Very friendly and helpful service and a fairly priced and diverse menu make this an absolute must for visitors to Lake Iseo. We loved it.

Very nice restaurant/hotel situated in a small village sitting well above Riva di Solto. Appears to be frequented by locals and their families for Sunday lunch. Nice selection of locally inspired ingredients and wines. Service is attentive but not overbearing. Views are tremendous from anyplace inside the restaurant. If you are planning to walk up from the shoreline it is not very far but it is a very steep climb.Thank's a lot for beautiful words;I hope to see you soon!Sergio Polini

Well.. I expected it go be great, but I was surprised for many reasons. This is not a new place, it has been around for years, yet they pay attention to the smallest details, resulting in a perfect experience on all aspects.Tasting menu : amazing selection of VEGAN food. Very creative, and really tasty. 40 euro for so much effort and quality is very fair! They even have a vegan cookie with the cafe. Each course top notch. ! Wine list is solid. Loads of older vintages to pick from. Wine glasses were even great.Service was perfect! Was honored to be served by the owner, who was super friendly, very professional and as expected, very experienced. The view, the place it self and everything about it :amazing!Honestly.. it was one of those SUPER RARE experiences you only wish for. By far on my top 3 best restaurant experiences of all times, and I feel so appreciative of their efforts and their amazing vegan menu. Just go.. does not get any better than this!++AAA PERFECT!!
