Pronkenburg is an eighteenth-century manor surrounded by a moat and set in the middle of a nature reserve only a few miles away from Bruges and the Belgian coast. In our B&B you not only rent a room, but you have at your disposal the best part of the manor, places where you can relax or where you can find all information about the area.
I was travelling with my family, and we decided to stay here so we could visit Brugge, it was so confortable and Axel a marvelous host, breakfast was so deliciuos it made me feel like home. I will absolutely go again with out hesitation.

Nice room and the host was very nice and helpful. Not free parking on site but not far. Nice clean facilities with bathroom shared between 2 rooms. About a 15m walk from town centre but in a nice quiet location.

The rudest staff that I have ever encoutered in my 30 years of travel. Completely inflexible and appauling. Communication from hotel included sentences like "Stop !!! Check in 15 h" and "You Can Not Change to rules of the hotel , end of story" We lost money as we were not allowed to check in after 9PM which completely messed up our travel plans. Avoid this hotel. They should not be allowed to be anywhere close to hospitality business.

We booked last minute as we were stuck in Blankenberge (train strike!) and they accepted us no problem and were possibly the most friendly management I have come across. We weren't expecting much as it was so cheap, but we actually loved our spontaneous night here! It was a real local vibe which was nice, comfortable bed, unexpected large power shower in our room and very clean. I think it was a hostel but we had a lockable double room to ourselves. 5 minute walk to the train station, 3 minute walk to the beach/ promenade. In the morning we were greeted to a busy little breakfast area in reception and a lovely lady owner who was so happy to hear we had a good rest. If you like simple, homely and affordable stays, I would highly recommend Logies Lucullus :)

All apartments are fully equipped with bed and bath linen, toiletries, hair-dryer. The kitchen(ette) is well stocked with basic ingredients like oil, spices, sugar, mayo, mustard, coffee, tea, etc... Airconditioning. Quaint city garden with lounge and dining area to unwind while sampling one of the tasty Belgian beers. Free use of comfortable city bikes to explore the city and its surroundings.
Stayed here with a friend. Excellent location, fully functional apartment. We had two proper beds and one came down from the wall so no uncomfortable pull out. The apartment had everything we needed but the Aircon was very hard to use and the radiators were all turned off on arrival so it was freezing till we realised. It is in need of a paint, a light in the communal hall and some of the plugs have come completely away from the wall. The hotel to collect the keys is only a minute walk and the staff there are very helpful.

The hosts (Fabian and Sonja) have turned their family home into a small B&B (three guest bedrooms). Unfortunately the hosts do not tell you about the hidden charges added to your bill. They charged us 60euros to use their microwave only once! They didn't tell us during our stay, but added it to the bill at the end. The hosts also cannot speak English very well (or pretend not to). Also the toilet is in the bedroom (not en suite), and there is no privacy curtain or door. You can see and smell someone using the toilet from the bed. The location is also far from the centre and has no restaurants or shops nearby. The breakfast is expensive (€12.50 for some bread and cheese and two pastries). The location is far from the centre (not many good restaurants nearby) but in a quiet residential road near the airport (you can hear the planes if you are outside).

Wonderful place, very spacious, fabulous décor and a great price. Parking available on the drive and great garden to sit out and relax on an evening. Fantastic knowledgable host Frank, very hospitable and provided a fabulous breakfast which can be seated indoors or out in the large garden and terrace. Use of kitchen facilities and fridge/freezer which was a godsend to us keeping our waters/beers cold on our visit. Visited as a family and will definitely visit again.

Hotel Gasthof Te Cathem is a charming historic homestead near the green Lys Valley, located in the heart of the triangle Kortrijk, Ypres and Lille (France). The historic homestead, dating from the 14th century, was renovated into a rural charm full residence homestead with contemporary decor with a maximum capacity of 28 people. The hotel offers a surprising and welcoming stay on, suitable for tourist and business functions, in a relaxed and casual family atmosphere. Ideal for a short or long stay.

After a cycling trip we stayed here 1 night, and had a good breakfast. The lounge area is a nice place to relax with a drink form the huge fridge where there are many drinks to choose from. I didn't rate it excellent as there was a light smell of the owner's dog in the lounge/breakfast area. The room, we had one on the second floor, was good and big enough for a 1 night stay. Mind you though that you are not in Middelkerke, therefore not at the coast, but a few km inland. So, you'll need transport to get to the sea.

Good position, nice rooms, excellent breakfast. Helpful Hostess and staff who were much cheerier than a lot of the locals, many of whom had never heard of customer service. Exception - Yacht Club nice for evening drink. Excellent cycling in the area. Coast Tram an interesting activity. Good for visiting Bruges.
