One of Italy’s most visited regions, Veneto in the country’s northeast was independent for centuries until 1797, when Napoleon invaded. It then bounced among French, Austrian and Italian domination. Bordered by some of Europe’s most beautiful elements (the Adriatic Sea to its east, Lake Garda to its west, the Dolomites to its north, and the Po River to its south), Veneto is known for agriculturally rich valleys flowing down from Alps and for important cities like Venice, Verona and Padua.

Negative: We stayed in two rooms. In our room in the main building we discovered bed bugs. In de dependance building internet is poor and shower takes about 3 minutes to get on temperature. Unfriendly staff. They did nog recognise the problem. There is a road between hotel and swimmingpool, so be careful with your kids wandering around. Amenities in the rooms and breakfast are basic. Positive: Beautiful scenery and swimmingpool

Tucked away in the quiet countryside of the Venetian province, this elegant camp site is perfect to get away from it all. Situated between a lagoon and the Brenta River, the resort is just a few minutes by train from the romantic city of Venice for guests who want to pop over for a day trip. The lodges are in a meadow, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. n the charming rural scenery that surrounds it , the Glamping Canonici di San Marco is set in the context of a seventeenth-century structure where native trees and orchards will make you feel nestled in nature without giving up modern comforts. The Lodge will be your refuge after an intense day in Venice or in the nearby cities of Padua and Treviso, and it will be the ideal base for a cultural, social, eno-gastronomic or sporting stay, allowing you to rediscover the secret harmony that only contact with nature can generate! The Glamping Canonici di San Marco currently have 4 suggestive Lodges nestled in the spectacular panorama of the Venetian countryside and offers exclusive hospitality to a small number of guests to guarantee tranquillity, peace, relaxation and an high level of refined and personalised service . Corn fields, orchards and ancient trees are the frame of these 4 luxurious and eco-friendly Lodges. This is a great example of the most modern green philosophy who looks over sustainable tourism, attention for the environments and conservation of our local natural heritage. A seventeenth-century “Barchessa” converted as Guesthouse hosts the breakfast room (at one time tailoring) where antique lampshades hanging from the rafters make an enchanting atmosphere; a small wine cellar for convivial moments, a feature kitchen that still preserves the ancient manger; the very spacious porch is furnished with lounges and sofas for relaxing moments and with a sumptuous wooden table of six meters for celebrations. All rooms hint at the life that once took place between these walls and which were retained as the most original and true. Both Suites and Lodges are equipped with a spacious bathroom (about 15sqm) which is separated by door / screen and rich curtains and equipped with shower and ceramic sanitary ware (of course hot water .. like at home!) : large windows and doors with mosquito nets offer an exceptional ventilation and a beautiful 360 degree view over the fields. Each Lodge has a terrace and a private garden and is equipped with elegant chaise-longue, lounges, sun loungers, tables and original lanterns to admire the beautiful sunset taking a good drink!
Unforgettable experience, stylish sinergy of Namibian & Balinese retreats surrounded by our lush greenery and colorful flowers. Definitely glam tents. Romantic and exclusive vibs for a peaceful gateaway. Can’t wait for the private pool!

Friendly hosts, clean, neat, modern, free parking, good breakfast, enough socket in the room, quiet place, the refrigerator is out of the room, but it locks. Very close to ZOO. Not good: Small room, poor wifi signal in the room, too little hanger for towels and things in the room.

Our B&B is located in the city center in a strategic position, between the Arena (5 min walk) and Porta Nuova station (10 minutes on foot). Cleanliness, hospitality and comfort are the basis of our work in order to allow our guests to spend a peaceful stay and enjoy their experience in Verona.
B&B Valverde is place I can highly recommend. It’s very clean and Emanuele and his mom are the sweetest! You’ll feel at home immediately. It’s a 5 min walk from the Arena, so go enjoy this lovely place, you won’t regret it. And of course enjoy Verona, it’s such a beautiful city :)

While visiting Valeggio there's one thing that cannot be left out: trying tortelli and tortellini. Whit this goal we reserved a table at the Hotel Faccioli. The terrace is quite and big, the service fast and caring, so we could have lots of stories and explanations to go along the dishes we selected. Of course we had a tasting of mixed tortellini (with butte and sage) and tortelli (with pumpkin), right after a lake fish based starter (luccio) and some veggies. House wine (fair enough), water and coffee, for a total bill od 68€ (divided by 4). Super recommended!

When we pulled over to La Boheme I couldn't believe it was the right place given how cheap we had found the room in low season! The rooms are nicely placed in the garden, few steps away from the pool; they are spacious and comfortable. The garden is lovely and the breakfast abundant and delicious. We had pizza for dinner and it was really good (and at a normal prize)! Overall we had a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel!

My husband and I hiked up from Costa (the town below), it took us about 2 hours due to snow and ice. It’s not a difficult hike but u need good walking boots (with metal spikes) and hiking sticks at this time of year due to the icy conditions. The rifugio is at 1876 meters and is a beautiful modern but yet traditional wooden building right on top of Monte Zovo. We had a couple of rum punches (???????) and traditional strudel which was yummy in a cosy and warm setting. Mattia was very friendly and professional and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back soon.
