Once home to ancient Carthage and now governed from its capital, Tunis, Tunisia’s historical significance and cosmopolitan charm is world-renowned. Bookended by the Mediterranean Sea and Sahara Desert, the country’s fertile landscape, coastal resorts, and warm temperatures draw holidaymakers in search of sights, sea, and sun.

As we were driving for hours in the desert I couldn’t help but wonder what kind of hotel could be waiting for me. This place was a wonderful and unexpected surprise. The rooms were well appointed, shower was great and the staff refreshing. The dinning room was a pleasure to sit in and food was better than most. Truly great glam-ping It’s not the greatest but the best I’ve had in Tunisia Breakfast on the balcony in the room every morning really made my day Loves spending my morning with the local cats and enjoying my morning coffee and eggs

Hotel Paris is located in the heart of the city of Sousse. It is close to various shops, the train station, the central bus station and the beaches, which gives you the opportunity to discover Sousse on foot. Hotel Paris offers a 24-hour front desk and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of the Old Town. The furnished sun terrace offers views of the walls of the Medina. The least expensive stay in all Tunisia - From 7 Euros per night / Person. Hotel Paris is highly rated for its excellent value for money.
I checked in here late last night as a single European woman. The male check in staff were lovely. I felt very safe and welcome. The rooms are simple but very clean especially for Tunisian standards. The bed was very comfy and I even had free Wi-fi and a tv and air conditioning. They even lent me a phone charger for the night. Thank you so much hotel Paris, you are the best and I would love to stay again with you someday. Five star service from a little medina hotel.

Our guesthouse is located in the heart of the fourth holy city of Islam, Kairouan, the mythical and eternal city. Kairouan was founded in 670 by Uqba ibn nefaa. It will be the capital of Ifriqiya for 5 centuries and the space and centre for spreading the universal values of Arab-Islamic civilization. Because of its rich history, architecture and cultural heritage, Kairouan has been inscribed on the UNESCO’S world heritage site since 1988. Backed with those advantages, Dar Alouini which is close to “the holy Mosque of Uqba “was renovated with traditional materials and products drawing its inspiration from the Arab- Islamic architecture and the fire Andalusia. Dar Alouini is a new guest house in the heart of Kairouan medina. It is a two- storey house with nine richly decorated suites including a Hammam, a Sauna, a Swimming pool, a covered patio, a beautiful terrace with a view on the medina and an underground parking. Each suite bears the name and the theme of a flower:

Outrageous. My husband and my friend (girl) came back from eating out at 11:30pm and were stopped and questioned by a male receptionist. He asked my husband if he was a "resident" and then asked to see our room keys / numbers. When he saw we only had two keys (my friends and ours) he asked my husband "And you ? Where's your room ?" I have never had to answer questions in a 4 star hotel, whatever the time. The man was basically suspecting my husband of bringing prostitutes in when - mind you - we are all French and do not even speak a word of Arabic. It is insulting and certainly not the kind of behavior that is expected out of such a high standard hotel.

We stayed there first week of August 2019. Kids liked the garden. Accommodation is super clean, quiet and cosy. Washing machine made the stay easier as we could wash our clothes regularly and go home with zero laundry. Location is perfect. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel has a lot of local character, with rooms around a lovely atmospheric courtyard decorated by bougainvilleas and aromatic plants in beautiful pots. It is also very well situated, right in the middle of Houmt Souk, perfect for visiting the village and witness local life away from the big touristy hotels. The room had comfortable beds and was nicely decorated. Staff was lovely and breakfast was simple but always served with a nice smile.

It costs 20 Dinar per person. The staff couldn‘t speak english well. They spoke french. They give you a pass which contains the 3 places you will visit. The museum is the first place you can go. It was very interesting to look at. The second we went to the crocodiles. There were also some other small animals. That was cool. Last but not least the village. It felt like we were in a labyrinth. It was nice too see a culture in there. I recommend going to djerba explore park.
