We Invite you to spend precious moments in the magical universe of the Danube Delta. Our motel Delta Miraj provides you with accommodation in Sulina and turistic facilities for an unforgettable holiday: fishing trips, speed boat rides or with 12 person party barge, team building and bird watching.
We found out about "Delta Miraj" after it was recommended to us by friends who've been there. After checking reviews online and looking at photos we decided to book. I can honestly say this was one of the best experiences. The owners are the warmest and kindest people you will ever meet, they advised us what trips to get, where to eat, how to get around. They were above and beyond and quite frankly made our trip great. The accomodations are top notch, the rooms are great and you have everything you need. The pool area is a great place to relax and enjoy some cocktails as well as the deck overlooking the Danube where you can spend the evening watching the sun set and enjoying some wine. Combine the above with a trip through the canals where you'll see splendid one of a kind sights, incredible wildlife. Nature at its best. We can't recommend this place enough. We are definitely coming back. Claudia Filip

Great host, welcomes us with warm and we received a nice and clean room. Ideal for kids and of course for fishermen. The nature in the area is magnificent. The kids had a lot of space to run and play.

Fantastic forgotten corner of heaven. Very welcoming hosts, amazing traditional homemade Delta food. Rooms are big and clean. We will not forget very soon the boat trip to the Letea Forest. We had the rare opportunity to enjoy a recital of popular traditional music sung by the local choir in both Ukrainian and Romanian, a vestige of a rich culture about to die. I recommend the place to everyone who is not afraid of the 70 odd km from Tulcea on a stony track.

I cancelled my reservation in advance because my flight was in delay, I called the hotel to inform and no matter how they took my money! You should show respect for the tourist that come in Romania, treating them well, and not stealing their money!

The biggest disappointment was to see how the people running this operation treat the very nature that let's them have it and some of the staff and family that work for them. Clearly profit oriented owner. He changes his story according to how he can benefit from a situation. The cook was nice and some dishes were good, but some other were tasteless. A lot of the ingredients were bought from big-box stores. Definitely not authentic and not romantic. The only nice things - there is still some wild life around and the roof of the building is very interesting - made of tall-grass.

The boat is anchored on the Danube near the mouth of the river, offering wonderful views from sunset to sunrise, you can see birds and fishes jumping around. The boat crew was really helpful and we are thankful for the way they treated us. They also made reservations for us to get to/from Sf Gheorge which made things easier. The bikes from the property were very handy, they make getting to the sea-side easy and fun.

For what I expected it was far too low. The rooms are just two feet larger than the beds, almost got claustrophobic. Very small rooms. Air-conditioned is individual for each room but too noisy, you can't sleep with it on. And the "apartment" where we stayed with the children you had to get on a wooden ladder to the next floor passing through the kitchen. Really tough setup. The worrisome thing was that the hotel has on the fridge an advertise that the hotel has not complied with fire safety regulations. No wonder, when you see so much wood around and no safety ladder. I made my own plan though in case of the fire I take the kids on the balcony, on the tin roof of the outside kitchen and jump in the neighbour's yard. I was very relieved when I left. I know the owners are doing the best but I would not go there again if they paid me. And I didn't understand exactly what was the kitchen usage policy because the owner she said that we can cook something but not everything, kind of she decides how much we cook or what...really grey area...we got all the meals in town for that reason except breakfasts. Again I would not go there again if they paid me.
