I felt like all my stress left me as soon as I checked into the hotel. The staff are friendly, I came back at 10.00pm one night and asked them if they had food, they said the kitchen was closed, but the staff was willing to open the kitchen just to cook for me, as he feared I would be hungry. Really thoughtful of them. The rooms are excellent like a resort in Bali or Phuket.

Located in Sadao, 44 km from Hat Yai, Banana Resort features free WiFi access and free private parking. Rooms come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. You will find a coffee machine and a kettle in the room. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a shower. There are shops at the property. Hat-Yai Airport is 35 km away.
The Banana Resort is 10km from the border of Malaysia (Dannok). Situated in a quiet area near rubber tree plantations. Close to downtown Sadao. The resort has a nice swimming pool with a coffeeshop that offers 24h service. The family running the resort is super friendly and will answer all your questions. Our family booked a bungalow with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms at back of the resort . In front of the bungalow you can sit and watch the palm trees while having a BBQ... Certainly recommendable.

Stayed here at danok with my mum in september 2019,the hotel is clean and new and not many patrons around. They have a restaurant downstairs and a small coffee bar that serves sandwiches. Also a nice massage parlour near the pool. Staff at the counter speak good english, and they provide free transport to the theme park next door. The worst thing is after dropping us off at the Jurassic park, the driver forgot to pick us up and I had to call the lobby reception twice and they sent a van to fetch us back. Thank god for roaming! Room was large and clean and new,all toiletries were provided.A really comfortable sleep.Restaurant downstairs provides some decent food.Overall a nice quiet place to stay.

We ride up from Singapore but no worry abt parking, Our bikes are safely parked at the hotel compound. Decha, the staff there is very warm, friendly n welcoming who is very devoted to his work. Took grand deluxe room cos that can fit 5 of us. Big, nice, very clean room. the bedsheets all smells good! Our room is at the last floor, so we hv a good view of the area. The hotel area is not at the main road, so its good n quiet & cosy. Although it may not be at the main road, but we can just tell the reception to go anyway, they can help to call for tuk tuk. It cost abt 20baht/pax. No worry about halal food cos there's alot of muslims here and looking for halal food is not difficult. I manage to go to Klong Hae floating market. A good place to go for lots of halal food and shops, can go crazy there. But the place only open Fri to Sun. No breakfast provided. Basically this hotel is recommended!

Goodnight Poshtel is run by a local owner who intends to render a warm and friendly family-like hospitality for Hatyai visitors. Starting out by modernizing an old building to a trendy living comfort. The rooms are designed into 9 different themes, perfect for photographing. All units feature air conditioner and a LED TV with direct button to Netflix! Located just 1.5 km from downtown area.
A comprehensive review of my stay at Goodnight Poshtel (23 - 25 JAN) LOCATION: Just 20 mins away from the airport, this aesthetic find is convenient to get to anywhere in the city center. We took a Grab (app) car to and from the hotel cos we were lazy but you could walk the streets to explore the sights & sounds! Mad convenient SERVICE: This is going to be a long writeup! Both the owners (Ann & Chin?- i hope i got the spelling right) are AMAZINGLY TALENTED individuals!!! If you intend to put up here, get them to share with you the story behind this place! Can you believe that the two of them literally painted the place / came up with the master lighting plan / baked the cakes at the reception area / cooked us breakfast on our last day / sourced for the furniture and all the little details around the hotel!??! UNBELIEVABLE! Their service is outstanding and personable! I was looking for a masseuse on my 2nd last day & Chin went all out calling the places she knew and trusted because she was determined for me to get a massage (it didn't work out because it was New Year's day and everywhere was fully booked). On the last night, my travel companion was craving for mango sticky rice and she even volunteered to drive her out just to hunt for a good-tasting one! Apparently, it's something she practices for the guests because she just wants too! I haven't met such kindness in a long while! ROOM: I resided in the room with the King-size bed. Did you know that the design and decor of each room is different? From the colour palette, to the textures of the wall, THE COLOUR of the KETTLE in each room, THE COLOUR OF THE TISSUE BOX & also your bathroom amenities have ALL BEEN thoughtfully chosen and thought of by the owners?! MIND-BLOWN. Room is clean, wifi can be a little laggy but hey my Netflix was running pretty decent so I ain't complaining. Putting up at this accommodation was a great joy especially when this was my first trip to Hat Yai. Please don't forget to try the carrot cake at the counter / reception if you're staying here! The cream cheese is really yummy! Also, there's a little corner near the entrance that sells tote bags / t-shirts & woven bags (by an old lady) so if you're intending to spend your baht on your last day, it'll be great to purchase something to show a little support! Thank you both for hosting us! I will come back again!

Hubby and I stayed one night on our way to Ko Lipe. Free pick up from airport and very friendly staff making sure we had everything to make our stay great. Pool was very refreshing. Restaurant was closed for dinner and staff drove us to excellent authentic Thai restaurant, and collected us after our dinner. Breakfast was good and staff efficiently helped us with our travel arrangements. Highly recommend.

I made a booking for one night well in advance via Booking.com. Close to my date I decided I wanted to book an additional night. Booking.com was not showing any availability for my extra night. On the 8 December I sent an email via Sandee Room's facebook page...no response. On 10 December I sent a message via Sandee Room's facebook page...no response. On 13 December I sent a message to Sandee Room via Booking.com...no response. On 15 December I cancelled my booking. I don't know whether this hotel is open or closed but I would advise making contact first before making any booking.

Beware that the lift only exists from the 2nd floor onwards. The reception is on the first/ground floor, so you need to bring your luggage up before you could use the lift. Perhaps this is made for security reasons as the hotel is located in the residential area. No tuk-tuk around and the nearest shop is about 200 meters away. Probably that is the place to get a tuk-tuk.
