Nice and clean The room was to the standard I expected Location was central to my activities! The service provision was top notch. The level of attention to detail during our ordering of breakfast and the freshness thereof will make me to always use these facilities. But you should work on providing gym activities I was forced to take a road workout during my stay.

It is a secluded haven of tranquility nestled in a grove of mature riverine trees on the bank of the Thamalakane River. The rambling lodge has an idyllic setting and is committed to service excellence. It is a delightful place to come home to after a day spent exploring.
i have stayed at the TRL four or five times. I have travelled to Botswana 5 times in the past 10 years. I have read the "bad" review on the TRL which was posted by a visitor who was there in October 2021. I was there in September 2021. We stayed 2 nights. The TRL has always been lovely when I've been there. The rooms (the "babblers') have always been clean, well laid out, and fresh. The food has always been good. I have never encountered a rude or uncaring staff member. The reception that I have received every time I have stayed at the TRL has been welcoming, polite and helpful. I have always had help taking my luggage to my room (I have never had to ask... it is simply done as a matter of course.) The pool is not large, but it has always been clean. If I have ever needed something, the staff has been quick to respond and provide. The negative review I read prompted me to write this review. Frankly, when I read that review I wondered if we were talking about the same lodge. I love the TRL and it has been and likely always will be my first choice for accommodation in Maun.

My family and I stayed at Mogotlho for 3 nights. Our hosts (Andrew and Brendan, or "Mr. A and B") and tour guide (Kurt) were the best! Even though we visited during the wet season and due to the high grass we didn't see many big game animals except for the stunning ellies and hippos, Kurt's knowledge of the bird life (and sharp eye to spot them!) were so good, he even got our children (ages 12 and 13) to download the Roberts birding app and tick off their first findings! Hats off to Gallagher, BB, Didi and the staff who worked hard to make our visit to Botswana truly memorable. The Mogotlho (Camelthorn) trees on site is stunning - we definitely want to visit again.

My daughter and I stayed twice durig our our week long visit to the okavango Delta. For us it was the perfect place to base our visit. It's location in a small nature reserve on the banks of the river and yet in close proximity to Maun is hard to beat. Accommodation in the huts has everything I'd expect from a good down to earth African lodge - nothing pretentious but still very clean, spacious and comfortable. Excellent value for money. After a long drive a refreshing swim in the pool, a beautiful walk in the reserve and finally a cold beer and a tasty meal overlooking the river. What more do you need! But the best was to come. Ours was a spontaneous visit so we arrived by road with nothing really planned or booked beforehand. In no time at all they helped us plan and then book what then proved to be a simply amazing and wonderful experience in the delta. Thank you Britt and Sean for making a dream come true. Without doubt the highlight of our road trip through Botswana and Namibia. I sincerely hope this will not be our first and last visit to the Okavango.

The pictures are all lies. The showers are dirty, walls and curtains are stained. Beds are old and noisy. Towels are old. Everything is just below standard and poorly maintained. Much much better places to stay at just down the road at the same price and less. Room was filled with mosquitos. Furniture and fixture sare old and hortible looking. Looks like a down town room.

Born in South Africa and taken to the world, Nando's specialises in Portuguese-style, flamed-grilled chicken dishes with various PERi-PERI marinades Experience a truly South African dining experience at Nando's in Maun The Nando's experience is like no other, perfect for the me-times as well as the family and friends time Add spice to your life with a meal from our Portuguese style menu We've set the eating experience on fire and we can't wait for you to join our table because if there's one thing we love as much as PERi-PERi, it's lots of people to enjoy it with
The lodge is is good as it is in the centre of town and a good location to the shops. However the service in the entire lodge is very very poor. In fact, it is terrible. The receptionists mood is very low when you check in, you are not walked into your room, nor do they want to go and show you the room before check in. Many things are missing when you get into the room, especially remotes. The remotes are using cheap batteries and you have to go back to reception everyday to complain about the batteries. The sidelights are of poor standard and are not working. I stayed there for 3 nights and never had wifi the entire time. The lodge is very dark also. they keep light off most of the hours of the day and it makes it a little scary. It is bread and breakfast but the breakfast is not good at all. There is no choice given to us, the customers. They service oily russians, eggs, beans and bacon. The cutlery is very dirty and the service is very very very poor. I think this was my second and last time at Centre Lodge Maun.

A genuine bush experience close to the convenience of Maun and the stunning beauty of the Okavango Delta. Tshima Bush Camp is a small, intimate camp close to Maun, the iconic safari town of Botswana. It is situated on 30 hectares of natural bush with direct access to the Nhabe river. Our Meru style tents provide comfort and lots of privacy. Walking trails invite guests to explore the area. You may find duiker, aardvark and a huge variety of birds. From time to time, elephants pass by as well and hippos inhabit the river. The camp serves as an excellent spot to spend the night while travelling between various treasures in Botswana. Furthermore, it is a perfect base for exploring nearby natural treasures such as the world-famous Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve and Nxai Pan National Park. The village of Komana is located close by and can be explored to get a glimpse of Botswana village life. Tshima Bush Camp is easy to reach via a good quality tar road, just a 25-minute drive from Maun.
Reminiscing about our trip last year we realized that we forgot to write a review about this wonderful place. In summary: - amazing hosts with a lot of experience and knowledge - excellent food (but really excellent food), and the breakfast basket served on your private balcony is delicious - clean and comfortable lodge - ... It is such a welcoming place. Definitely worth stopping and good connection to Moremi (for which they organized a trip for us). Hope that we can revisit this place again in the future. Nice garten and pool (without facilities) . That's all. Standard room small and very dark, no natural light at all, poor electric light. Hugly breakfast. No coffe after breakfast, had to wait one hour for a sandwich. Very bad and lazy service.
