Whether you are looking for sun-drenched beaches or outdoor activities in beautiful countryside, New Jersey has plenty to offer. Those who love the great outdoors should head for the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, which runs along the Delaware River for forty miles. Here you can go rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking or fishing, or simply admire the stunning waterfalls. There is a huge range of hiking trails to choose from as well as historic sites to visit. In winter, you can enjoy cross-country skiing near Blue Mountain Lakes, and birdwatchers might be lucky enough to catch sight of bald eagles. If you are looking for a change, visit one of New Jersey's eleven lighthouses that are open to public, such as the one in Cape May. For art and history enthusiasts, New Jersey State Museum in Trenton has historic artifacts and American fine art from the nineteenth century to the present day as well as a Planetarium.

I stayed at 931 Beach last year with my boyfriend and loved it so much that I came back again this year. Great Ocean views!. Liza, the innkeeper is awesome - personable and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay at the inn. The place is clean and charming and you can't beat the location right across from the beach and a short walk to the best restaurants in town. I will be back again.

We have been coming to Cape May for years and finally found a place we will be coming back to yearly! The Turret suite was wonderful and the deck was great to have our meals out on. We found out that our bed sheets, towels and washcloths, and shampoo. conditioner, and soap was ALL provided. We had a slight water problem in our bathroom and it was fixed that day by her husband. Laura cleans the place herself and she does an immaculate job. We can't wait to stay here next year!

The Meadow room offers great sunrise views over the Salem River Wildlife Management Area. The River room with a balcony overlooks the Delaware & Salem rivers and Elsinboro beach. The Tower Suite offers views of both the meadow and the river, and has a large balcony and kitchenette. Enjoy magnificent sunsets on the West coast of New Jersey. The Inn at Salem Country Club is a unique venue tucked away on the outskirts of Salem, New Jersey, right on the Delaware River. Tranquil setting, with a building reminiscent of original structure, eagles flying about and amazing sunsets.

This place was so nasty i cried myself to sleep. The manager refused to give me my money back and are racist and bias! I had bed bug bites all over me in a row . I found a crack pipe under the bed. This place needs to be shut down! Dont stay here ! Stay at the roadway inn in belleville

Dirty. Overpriced. $75 and your not allowed a guest! Owner is just down right mean. The old Indian lady in the wheelchair seems nice behind the dirty covid shield at the office. No blankets on the beds! Just a old dirty spread that everyone knows doesn't get washed. Problem is there are no other motels really close.
Summer and Winter rentals. Eleven guest rooms, including one suite. Room: full size bed, flat screen TV, A/C, dresser, sink, small fridge, bathing towels and sheets. Suite offers up 6 person occupancy. Large front porch with tables and chairs. Out door shower is available to rinse off the sand after a day at the beach. Shared kitchen with TV and new appliances. We are NOT a Bed and Breakfast. Street parking only

Captain Mey's is a Victorian inn located in the heart of Cape May's historic district just steps away from the beach and Washington Street Mall.
We stayed here over labor day weekend and had a great time. The Inn is beautiful and the room was very cozy. The location is excellent and just minutes to the beach and shopping area. When leaving I accidentally left a handful of clothes in the closet and didn't realize it until almost a week later. Rita, who may be the owner went above and beyond to return them to me saving me the long trip from Brooklyn to Cape May. We look forward to staying here again soon..

If you have been around, are part of the 60s, and like comfy, RELAXED, and low key...this is the place for you. Stay a few days, a week or more and you will find that you think of it as home when walking across the street from the beach heading to the wonderful outside shower. Wonder over to Bank Street for diner or just stroll down to Martini Beach for ½ price drinks and snacks, then return to the front porch and hang out people watching. If you are looking for matchy- matchy blue & white décor and the same picture in every room do the house a favor and don’t go. This is a fun and comfortable house at the shore. I will plan a "girl" week for about 10 the summer of 2012.

there are not a lot of things in this motel it is a very simple motel . If you are a smoker you can smoke in the room and we are smokers.. there is no refrigerator, no coffee pot in the room, no shampoo or conditioner, this is not a five star hotel, and i love simple. the room was clean and no one bothered you.. i asked why no shampoo or conditioner and the cleaning ladies said because this is not a hotel it is a motel very simple. we stayed 5 nights the price was right for us. we had a tv, everything we needed, they did have an ice bucket and you just had to go to the desk to get the ice this is all due to covid. The owner could not have been nicer.. They came in and cleaned our room everyday . if you are looking for food, a refrigerator, a coffee pot, a microwave this is NOT the hotel for you.. the price was right and we went down every day to talk to the owner he was so nice.. we are going there again in march of 2021 for 5 days..
