My Mongolia ger camp is located in one hour from Ulaanbaatar. Terelj National Park is must visit natural sightseeing attraction in Mongolia with beautiful rock formations. We glad to offer you family friendly, comfortable and all season holiday gers. Please, enjoy your stay with us!
Very clean air and great atmosphere . There were cows, horses, squirrels and a friendly dog welcome us. Staffs could speak a little bit in English. I stayed for one night. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Dinner did not included so a bit expensive. No restaurant and no market around as in ads. Toilet and shower room are far from Ger camp.

We are a small family run horse riding and adventure camp. Experience a unique way of camping in the wast wilderness, Mongolia. Each ger is furnished with 4 beautiful big traditional Mongolian beds, complete with goose duvets, towels and slippers for all our guests. A ger can accommodate up to 8 people. There is a timber built toilet , a shower and sauna. Affordable luxury camping!
If you are searching for a hidden gem of a place to experience the beautiful Mongolian landscape at Gorkhi Terelj National Park, look no further. Nestled away in a secluded, safe mountain enclave with a backdrop of pine trees, the Gers at the camp are comfortable and spacious. This is a place where you can see horses and cattle roaming freely, wake up to a cuckoo bird calling in the distance, and have eagles soaring on a windy day. The amenities are clean and quaint with a 'ger sauna' to add a touch of luxury. There is no electricity and internet, which adds to the charm and rustic feel of the place. Food is wholesome, tasty and plenty. Each ger has wood burning stove that makes the place warm and welcoming. Puugee and Nami are excellent hosts, with prompt responses to emails and impeccable hospitality throughout the stay. Horse ride or hike to experience the unique landscape. If you are a beginner at horse riding, have no fear - Puugee is an experienced and capable guide. The horses are just gorgeous :) It is lovely to see them roam and graze freely on the land when not being ridden. The park is located just 2.5 hours from Ulaanbaatar, which makes it a perfect standalone trip or a resting spot during a longer journey. Thanks & gratitude to Dream Adventure Mongolia for making my stay in Mongolia so memorable.

The Tuul Riverside Lodge is a small, fully sustainable, traditional Mongolian camp surrounded by a sea of grass and rolling hills, which stretch down to the nearby River Tuul and beyond. Situated within an hour’s drive east of Mongolia’s bustling capital Ulaanbaatar, a warm, and peaceful welcome awaits you. You will stay in beautifully decorated traditional yurts, known locally as gers, with the added advantage of en suite facilities. Gers are constructed from a wooden lattice frame, 88 roof poles, and are covered with layers of felt to insulate against the harsh Mongolian climate. Both strong and reliable, they are perfect places to spend your time in Mongolia. At the Tuul Riverside Lodge there is something for everyone, regardless of age, experience or ability. We offer a wide range of both adventure and cultural activities, allowing you to enjoy and learn about Mongolia to the fullest. Relax around a roaring campfire and marvel as the Milky Way passes overhead. Enjoy the solitude and freedom that is Mongolia, and let your worries fade away. Given the high standards of the lodge, the beauty and tranquility of the area, and its close proximity to the city, make it the perfect place to hold small business meetings, conferences and team building activities. Whatever your needs, the Tuul Riverside Lodge is ready and able to facilitate in any way we can. We look forward to meeting you.
We stayed at Tuul Riverside Lodge with some friends. Making the reservation went very smoothly as did the pick-up and transport to the camp, only an hour outside of Ulaanbaatar. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe Kazakh family ger on arrival. All of our hosts were very friendly and highly attentive to our needs enabling archery and horse riding. It was reassuring to see the lodge manager, Telmuun, accompany my daughter and our friend on their horse riding session. This was just one example of the reassuring personal touch that TRL is renowned for. The food at the camp is astounding and suits all tastes including those with specific dietary requirements. We were all impressed with the quality, quantity and diversity available at the mealtime buffets. The Kazakh family ger that we stayed in was comfortable though a few improvements would have made it more so. It would have been much better if there had been comfortable seating, adequately sized bedding and a mosquito net that was large enough for the bed. On the whole, we enjoyed our stay here and felt that with the 40% discount it was good value for money. We would most certainly stay again.

My wife and I visited the lodge in September at the end of the tourist season. We stayed in the Super Deluxe Ger. It was spacious and BEAUTIFUL with an in suite bath, hot water, rain shower and the works. The food was so good that we had to call the young chef to compliment him in person. Service was excellent and they pay special attention to detail. It must take a lot of effort to make thgis happen in the middle of the desert. I give them 5 stars + and strongly recommend.

I spent one night at this camp and didn't stay a lot of time. The ger was quite large with the bathroom inside. It was quite cold but there were some blankets to put in the bed. I estimated not necessary to have the wood stove. The food again was very similar to that of other places in Mongolia.

This place is amazing. Coming back in the evening to a warm get with the fire blazing and on cold mornings having the fire started by 7 so we could get warm. The owner is more than helpful, arranging tours, horse rides and flights. I'll be coming back to this little oasis of comfort by the lake.

The Ayanchin Four Seasons Lodge used to be the number one place in Terelj well above average. These days are gone. From my experience, things started to lack maintenance in 2019, now in 2020 the breakdown is apparent everywhere. Many of the once quality features are already broken. We had to stay the last weekend in the Gertech building without water and toilet and suggestion was to change the room. Facilities in the second room weren’t working either. The floor in both rooms hadn’t seen a vacuum cleaner for long time. The Jalousies were broken as well as the lampshades of the bedside lamps. We found a lighter in the pocket of the gown and lots of hair on the bedsheets – neither of the things had apparently been changed. The playground is also missing maintenance and toys like the seesaw are even dangerous as the seats are broken now. Prices are still high but not in line with the offered quality anymore. Two stars for the still good food and the friendly staff who is trying to compensate for the lack of maintenance. Not recommended to stay overnight – only good to go for an afternoon and eating in the restaurant. Really sad to see such collapse in the last two years.

The location is wonderful with the lake and plenty of woodland and shoreline to hike along at sunset and sunrise. Beautiful photo opportunities everywhere. We stayed in the lodges and not the gers and were pleasantly surprised at the amenities provided with electric outlet for charging camera batteries and a balcony. Food was very good and a great selection for breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed two nights at Ursa Major which is the eco resort twin of Sweet Gobi. The absence of mains electricity and running water is more than compensated for by the views, spaciousness and the isolated, blissfully peaceful location. Like its twin, the camp provides hot towels early and late in the day to clean up. A bonus was the WiFi in the evenings courtesy of the camp's generator. In summary, superior to most of the 10 ger camps we visited.

Memorable. We were well taken care of despite no running water, no electricity, and outhouses. Gers are beautifully appointed, a carafe of hot water for tea is waiting in each ger upon arrival, hot pine scented moist towels are delivered for washing up both morning and evening. The setting and quiet are wonderful.
