A favorite getaway for Bangkok residents, Hua Hin is a pretty beachside town. Family friendly and relaxed, it lacks the all-night partying and seedier aspects that make other nearby beach resorts a haven for unsavory characters. Once a small fishing village, it was transformed into a royal resort, and it’s these close links with Thai royalty that ensure Hua Hin won’t become overdeveloped or lose its small-town vibe.

great accommodation for few nights, close to the main highway but far from the crowd of main Hua Hin beach. Friendly, helpful and English speaking staff. Clean room, comfy bed, and lovely pool. Common room to have coffee, tea or breakfast. Thank you Pang for your hospitality.

I think that this hotel is little bit overpriced, it costs 1700B per night(with breakfast) but it could be less. It's nice, new and super clean but it's about 15 minutes walk to the beach and also to the night market. City center, where the night market and also the beach is, is little bit far especially in hot weather. The owner is nice and he really tryes hard. Breakfast is served on the 4th floor with a terrase, there is really nice view. It was the most clean hotel we have seen in thailand!! If you prefer clean ness and you don't mind little walk it's perfect place :)

Had a very enjoyable stay at Baan Piyanat a nice little property in a good location within Hua Hin. On arrival from Bangkok we walked from the train station to the property and managed to check in straight away about midday with a nice friendly Thai lady on reception and we had to leave a 200 Baht deposit for the room key. Had a lovely room located on the 4th floor that we found to be very clean with excellent A/C and a nice little balcony. The room is also of good size along with a wet room with hot shower. Near the hotel you have a 7/11 just over the railway tracks and some bars and restaurants along with the usual Thai Massage and laundry businesses. Not able to comment on the restaurants as we always walked to the night market for our evening meal, it was walkable for us but some might opt for local transport. Just down the road across the highway you find the beach and it's a lovely spot just to place your towel down on the sand and relax. Also within walking distance you have a shopping mall where you find Tesco Lotus along with other shops, cinema and food outlets. Would stay again as its a lovely hotel for the price just don't expect fast wifi although the hotel does provide free wifi in all rooms.

I think there is nothing special about this hotel except the price lower than other hotel for the same type of room. The room was clean, Location a bit far from the city center. But over all it was okay, if you are just plan to sleep in the room like what we did, all is fine.

My Vimarn looks great from the photos, but admittedly staying there was really rather underwhelming. Here are some positives first however: - friendly staff, except the cleaning lady who tried to come in when a clear "Do Not Disturb" sign was hanging right outside my door - The hotel's white and blue decor is quite pleasant - room is very clean and very large, as is the bathroom (they could have easily fitted a bathtub though, but they chose not to) - they give you tons of water bottles, which is very much appreciated! - huge indoor pool (but this is also a negative, see below) - location is okay. walkable to Cicada market, but at the same time is a bit remote as it has no good access to the beach (more below). Now here are why I was less than impressed: - the air-conditioning is designed to get you sick. In my room, it blows right on top of you while you are in bed! And alas it's the hot season here in Thailand, so if you turn it off it is way too warm, but if you turn it on the air is blasting right on top of you and you get sick. This made sleeping really rather uncomfortable. - there is very little noise proofing in the room. As the room faces the huge indoor pool, and everything is closed off, it means that noises from any floor echoes throughout, and you can here it clearly, even inside the rooms. When I was there, someone had the great idea of swimming around midnight, and splashing around and making noises. Well, I heard everything despite being on the top floor. Ugh. - breakfast is very mediocre. There wasn't a lot of Western options available (despite egg options). Surely more than one bread option is possible?? - outdoor pool itself is...very underwhelming in design and usage. Worse, there is no way to really get from the hotel to the beach. You have to go around to use a public entrance, which makes it less ideal. I debated for a while as to whether give this hotel 2 or 3 stars. But honestly for the amount per night, you can get much better rooms in other places, and ones which are much, much more conducive to restful sleep. So alas I have to give this a 2 stars (ie. I would not return here), despite the very nice folks who work there. Sorry!

I arrived late at night from Bangkok. No one in reception but a couple of numbers stuck to the window. If you don't read Thai you might not understand that you have to call someone's mobile phone and wait on the street with your bags for 10 minutes. Eventually a girl comes and opens up but you have to pay 500 baht deposit for the key. Room was ok but nothing compared to others in the same price range. The aircon worked. In the morning we had to go to their restaurant next door. Food was ok but no coffee included! Had to pay for coffees, which hurt as 99.999% of hotels provide coffee with breakfast. Don't bother to book this place unless every hotel in Hua Him is full.

Overlooking the sea, Veranda Lodge is located along Hua Hin Beach in Prachuap Khiri Khan. It has a private beach with sun loungers, an outdoor pool and a seafood restaurant. Veranda Lodge is a 10-minute walk from Market Village. It is a 5-minute drive to Hua Hin Town and the night market. Guests who drive can enjoy free parking.
I was very impressed with the hotel because it was a beachfront hotel that was perfect for relaxing and heating yourself. At night, you can hear the waves of the sea lightly. The wind blows softly, providing cold knowledge, clearing the mind. In the morning, the sun rises very well plus the cool air refreshes.
