Narittaya Resort and Spa is an intimate boutique resort set in a serene foothill of Chiang Mai's Suthep Mountain, north of Thailand. On the outskirts of the main city, with a mere fifteen minutes' drive, this hidden gem offers an escape from the chaotic lifestyle and entrance into Zion
Will never again make the mistake of pre-paying for 3 nights when booking a Thai resort or hotel. This place is far from anywhere, the pool villas are in terrible condition. After checking in we had to call reception to send someone to sweep up dead bugs in the bedroom and remove the leaves from the pool. Be careful of the pool villas here, the pool is a joke, about 2 feet deep and the water is so freezing cold you cannot use it, maybe 'paddling pool villas' is a more appropriate name. The plugs do not even suit Thai appliances, had to ask for an adapter. The place is beyond rustic, its obviously old, not kept up well at all. Only suitable for very low budget travellers and people that appreciate an extremely laid back attitude. We had lunch when we arrived and the food was ok, i' ve had much better cheaper Thai food. Will never understand why people choose to manage and maintain resorts like this? The surroundings (although not the fault of the hotel) is very dry and not much green as summer is here. Na! Sorry, this is not going to be the kind of stay i was hoping for! Can't wait until dark, to discover what light bulbs don't work! Oh, did i mention the bed is hard as rock.

We fed chicken, ducks, the one sheep and goats. All of them huddled around us, pleading for food. We felt so popular! We also saw some fireflies blinking against the ink-dark night with the shining crescent moon. Little frogs croaked at the pond and you can even spot some. Of course, there's also the dogs. When you leave, give Nok a hug. Because she deserves one, and also the dog will squeeze in jealously. I regret that I didn't give Al a hug. I would have liked to see if the dog joined in too. It's not just B&B. It's much more than that. If you're an animal lover, this place is a must. Since the Rice Barns were full during our stay, we stayed at the blue and green houses which were just next to each other. They were still lovely to stay in. The beds were soft, and the water pressure was good. They do provide English breakfast and other kinds. A simple Thai restaurant is nearby within five minutes' walk. In addition, there's a free pick-up from a restaurant at a further distance. Just ask Al and Nok. We really enjoyed our stay.

I was looking to be situated near the natural and adventure sites of Chiang Mai, and came across Foresta Villa. It is a simple cottage with 4 rooms surrounding a garden square, and my well-appointed room had a king-sized bed with ample space around it to move around and place my things, accompanied by a good wifi connection and a clean, proper bathroom. Beyond the charm of the accommodation, Villa's outstanding proposition is the owner, Ak. He was an exemplar of Thai hospitality, acceding to my request for special transport for my luggage (which included a large bicycle bag), and while I was there, he made sure I felt at home, was comfortable and had the knowledge and access to the necessary amenities I needed to get around. I was very impressed with his willingness to help as much as he could, to make my stay as wonderful as it was. The surrounding area is rustic, with wonderful food and coffee options within a short bicycle ride, and it was thanks to Ak and his staff that I was able to go to and enjoy these places.

Nestled into the stunning landscape of southern Chiang Mai,offers unparalleled 360-degree views of the Doi Samoung mountains and an intimate, serene space with Mother Nature. Spectacularly perched into surrounding vistas of alluring sunsets and starry skies, ‘The Secret Rooftop Gastrobar’ offers a romantic dining experience of exquisitely curated farm-to-table epicurean delights.
This resort is great - rooms spacious and very clean. Food excellent from the breakfast to the evening choices with drinks in the Rooftop Bar enjoying the sunset and amazing outlook. Highly recommend this resort - a little out of town but taxis are very cheap.

The Honey Land hotel offers a good value. The owner was onsite and responsive to my requests. The hotel was freshly painted and very clean. The bed was firm but comfortable. Amenities included good a/c, kettle with coffee and hot chocolate, laundry services, free breakfast ( porridge, fried rice, fruit)flat screen (Thai tv). I saw a songteaw (small bus) with the hotels name but did not use it. There was also a “tree house” that I assume had rooms to rent but I did not see the inside of it. The hotel is located about 30 minutes south/southwest of Chiang Mai. It’s off the main road but easy to get to. If you don’t have a car, there are songteaw and taxis. The staff consisted of 2 women, some gardeners and the owner. Only the owner speaks English but the ladies will help you if they can. All were very friendly and made me feel welcome. As a solo traveler, I will definitely stay again.

A calm escape from city life with beautiful views, friendly staff. The view from the dining area absorbed me for a good 15-20 minutes. Pretty sure this is my new favourite spot in Thailand. Definitely worth hiring a bike as the road here is a great ride too

Bob ,who manages this place ,is an amazing host . The houses are real good in terms of structure and the ambience. Upstairs is the bedroom and downstairs the kitchen. WiFi is very good. Kitchen is fully functional with utensils and cooking ware. The place is away from the main city nestled in greenery . You can find a lot of solitude and romance here . Couple of good food joints nearby as well and a 7/11. City tours too can be organised via Bob . All in all a different and good experience for me.

Accessori in bagno osdidati e ruggine come tubo appendi asciugamani e porta rotolo carta. Frigorifero in camera rumorosissimo.
