We had such a lovely time at Mi Casa, Tu Casa. The family home is so nice and welcoming and we stayed in a room that is in a separate little house in the garden. The was super private and very cosy. Everything was extremely clean. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The owner was so kind and welcoming, and we also had breakfast here one of the days - he’s a good cook, so highly recommend. It was plentiful with granola, fruits, yoghurt, fresh juice, scrambled egg, bread, beans and plantain. The pick up from the airport also worked really well, and it’s in a perfect location for a quick stopover.

A quaint and lovely boutique hotel that feels like home. Located in the center of town just across the street from the National Conservatory of Music, it's the perfect, comfy and secure place to stay. Close to many historical places of interest, the Mercado Central and lots of restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We absolutely loved our meal provided by Chef Oscar and sous Chef Merit from Vista’s Mestizo Del Mar, the rooftop restaurant. Oscar came the day before and planned the meal with us. The next day, he arrived along with Merit and Carlos, one of the restaurant managers, and Lorenzo, our beloved waiter. First, Lorenzo served us perfectly crafted mojitos, then we had the most gorgeous salad, followed by their famous two soups which are poured side-by-side into the bowl representing this place which is where the Pacific and the sea of Cortez meet. Lorenzo was professional and very knowledgeable, describing each dish with passion. He served us Prosecco then wine with our meal that we had chosen. His English is also perfect, which helps, as we got into a great conversation about Mezcal. He knows his wines and spirits! Lorenzo was so attentive. The chef grilled vegetables, lobster, red snapper, and filet mignon on our outdoor grill. We’ve eaten in several high-end restaurants at other hotels and locations over the years and this meal was as good or better by far than all of them! The lobster was so tender and not overcooked. The meat melted in your mouth! We were even treated to three different incredible desserts. The sous chef Merit stayed later and we were able to converse with her regarding her love for cooking and food surrounding local celebrations. This meal, served outside on our beautiful patio overlooking our pool, hot tub, pool bar/grill with the fabulous ocean in the background, was unforgettable!

Perfect location! Very old style hotel. Looks like at the time of the revolution, but for this much money what we expect?! Ok for 1night, but not relaxing at all! Breakfast voucher valid for the Patsy Restaurant next door with the best breakfast I had in Guatemala!

Carlos was fantastic! Soon after I called and made a reservation, he called and confirmed and asked me several questions which helped me plan my travel route from Guate City to Costa Rica. This hostel specializes in providing a cheap room along with information to travel through Central America on the Tika Bus.The hotel provided a decent stay, especially if you're leaving on a Tika Bus early in the morning, since the bus lobby is the first floor of the hotel. I paid for a room for two with a shared bathroom. The rooms were New York style small. I pushed the two twin beds together to make room for our bags. There were two bathroom down the hall. However with only 3 rooms on the 3rd floor (and at least one of those rooms had a private bath), I never saw anyone use the same bathrooms as us. There was a LOT of car traffic noise from the busy street all night long. The curtains on the windows were sheer and did not block out much light. I'm a mom and was traveling with my 9-year old daughter and I always felt safe. We even took the public bus two stops to a small mall and this was very easy to do.

I stayed for two weeks at Hotel Posada San Judas to convalesce after a surgery in the city. The staff was wonderful, from Patricia Fernandez the manager, Don Jose and Felipe at the front desk, the ladies from housekeeping, and the security officers, everybody there is very kind and accommodating. It is very close to Zona Viva, in zone 14 and just a ten minutes drive from La Aurora Airport. it has a hospital right in the corner, supermarkets, restaurants, modern malls all around, and a pharmac, bakery, beauty salon within the premises of the hotel, additionally, the hotel has front desk and security 24/7, I felt very safe and care for especially the following days after my procedure. The hotel features small and medium and large apartments fully furnished, very cozy and comfortable. Daily breakfast is served either as room service or in the terraces with beautiful views of the city. Overall a delightful stay, I recommend it to anybody. I will stay there the next time I travel to Guatemala city.

Christian ministry that offers hospitality and flights to Santiago Atitlan. All the profit will go to the feeding center to help out widows and orphans.

Stayed here for one night before a very early flight as it’s very near the airport and offered free transport to the airport. Woke up, got ready, rang the bell for service as instructed so we could go to the airport at 530am and no one came. Ended up having a take an Uber. The rooms look much better in the pictures. The paint is falling off and has black patches. If your room is facing the street it’s very noisy. Bathroom was ok, had hot water. No shower gel or shampoo provided so bring your own Wouldn’t stay here again
