Reviewed By Becky RWe arrived in a country foreign to us only to be told the room we had paid for in advance was not available. Booked and paid for through Expedia. Ended up in a very noisy room in a different establishment and sleeping in the same room with my son and 11 year old son, adding a lot of stress and anxiety that did not need to happen.

Escape the city
Reviewed By klmonikaThe garden is especially welcoming, the artsy drawings on the wall bring a great personal touch to the place. When you would like to escape the city, it is great for a quick getaway weekend. Soundproofing needs fixing, however, the wooden elements of the house, the flooring, that are a bit noisy, make it so welcoming.

Reviewed By dianat453Very nice and clean place, we went for visiting Castle Bran and we found this place on booking. The owners are very adorable and sociable and the breakfast is perfect! The place is perfect if you come here on holiday with children, they have a lot of toys outside and inside the house. They also have a little cow farm near their garden but i do not know if they are the owners. I recommend with warm and i will surely return here. Castle Bran is 1 km far from the vila and if you come here, you should visit Peles Castle and Pelisor Castle which is more spectacular than Castle Bran. Also, near the vila you have a Mega Image (300 m) and you can bring food because they have a fridge where you can deposit. They only provide breakfast.

Reviewed By Michelle WI'm just home from an amazing weekend in Bran with my friends, celebrating Halloween at Bran Castle. We chose the Guest house Piatra Craiului because it looked beautiful and was close to Bran Castle, roughly a 15 minute walk. The owners were amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We had transfers from Bucharest airport and back and the owner drove us to the party at the castle. Truly exceptional service and I would recommend anyone to stay here. During our transfer the owner mentioned areas we may be interested in such as restaurants and popular tourist spots. The rooms were lovely and very well decorated. The beds were very comfortable and although we spent most of our time here outside, it was nice to come back and get a good nights sleep. The accommodation was also cleaned to a high standard. One of the things I loved was watching the animals outside. There was chickens, cats and dogs roaming around and they were very friendly. The hotel dog, Milo was adorable and very cute. We wished we could stay longer to experience more and will definitely be back again. Thank you to the lovely owners for hosting us and providing such a great service. You helped make our weekend one to remember.

From the beginning the host was very kind with us and provided us everything that we needed especially because we were with some families that had children. The lodge is a modern one but with a touch of traditional and has a great view on the castle by day but even spectacular by night. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The same with the living room were you have a big open space with the dinning area and kitchen (no dishwasher :( ). They also have a quite big terrace. In the courtyard they have o space for children to play but also a separate terrace somewhere on a hill with a barbecue place. Because it is inside, the grill is not that good ventilated. Anyway, the view is compensating. It was a very nice experience and we will go there again as soon as possible.

Halloween Holiday in Bran
Reviewed By Sheryl CMy friend and I recently stayed at the Pensiunea Belvedere for 2 days and nights over Halloween holiday. It was perfectly located within a long, but nice walk to Bran Castle and celebrations there. Our room, while nothing extravagant was clean, comfortable and very pleasant with a balcony/deck overlooking the pool (too cold for October) and tennis court. Oh yes, the price was very reasonable as well. The meals here were very good and the owners and their sons were very kind and helpful. I'd recommend this lodging for a pleasant, economical stay.

Very friendly, quiet and warm place, hiding at the hills above Bran, Romania
Reviewed By ArbeliWe were warmly welcomed by the friendly hosts, and this atmosphere remained throughout the visit. Our rooms were very clean, quiet and warm. The Ego Residence has a nice kitchen for the guests with a pool table (please try to keep the house rules and end at 22:00 - I failed it). The yard includes a nice barbecue, a kids playground and some outdoors tables for our family meals. The place is very adequate for a family or friends vacations. The fine summer weather was perfect for enjoying the outdoor amenities . Please note the road from the main street/road is unpaved and do not appear in the openstreetmap we used. There were no signs to guide us, too. Please contact the hosts, make reservations and ask for guidance.

Reviewed By Florin MA nice place for a holiday with family or friends. It is located about 200 meters from Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle). It features rustic, wooden with friendly staff, clean rooms. Barbaque area, kitchen well equipped. I highly recommend
