We wandered in after finding that Mambo was closed for the day to the public because the bankers had taken it. What luck this was as we got to see 3 incredible Guache murals instead..we didn't even know these were in here but as you approach the steps you can see a whole figure staring out at you. We love his work that we've seen on the streets but these were great in another way as he has been recognised for his absolute talent by the city library. ..The scale is incredible and bought to mind the murals of Diego Rivera that we saw in Mexico.. Absolutely worth a visit if you appreciate art and the story's it can tell.

Masterpiece of architect Rogelio Salmona, who always used local bricks for his buildings. The library is located in a beautiful park with lake and nice paths for walking. Good plan for a relaxed day.
