We had an amazing time with ES. From my BF not being able to ski at all he is now tackling la chaux. He’s so happy and he wouldn’t have been able to do it without ES looking after us so very well. Also got the nephew proficient from a total beginner too!!!!What a great bunch of talented people. See you next season for sure. Thanks again.

I decided to switch from snowboarding to skiing and took 4 half-day private lessons. Dido was beyond awesome!!!! By the fourth day I extended to a full day and Dido took me on a tour up to the glacier and across to Italy, they were the most amazing runs!! He even booked us lunch at a beautiful Italian restaurant (Chateau Étoiles). After 3 years of group lessons for snowboarding at a different resort and being on my butt most of the time I can’t believe how fast I progressed with private lessons....well worth the money!! 1.5hours into the first lesson we were already off the training area. Communication was fast and very easy via text with Riccardo. Dido was a great teacher, very knowledgeable and passionate. Would definitely recommend and hopefully return one day!!

We used Matterhorn Diamonds for the first time this year having skied with other ski schools in Zermatt for the past 10 years.Matterhorn Diamonds were truly outstanding. From the prompt and helpful communications from Rowena to the excellent instructors, Alex and Guy, we couldn't have asked for more. Alex and Guy were super knowledgable, accommodating and fun. We had a great week with them and will definitely use Matterhorn Diamonds again. Strongly recommend.

Bruno is an exceptionally knowledgeable and talented ski guide. We did two days of off-piste skiing in Zermatt and they were the best two days of skiing I’ve ever had. We were incredibly fortunate to end up with Bruno as our guide. We could not have had a better experience and that was 100% because of Bruno. We’ve had other ski guides and none of them compare. The avalanche risk was high because of recent snowfall (4 out of 5) and Bruno met with us at our hotel the night before, explained the safety procedures and how to use avalanche beacons, and reassured us that safety was his top priority. He also asked about our skiing experience. Once we were on the mountain, it was obvious that we could not have been in better hands. Bruno knows every inch of the mountain, knows how to read the snow, the sun, and the wind, and found us untracked powder and great conditions everywhere we went. We always seemed to beat other people to the best lines and it was clear that even when we were on lifts or trams, Bruno was scouting out our next run. He adjusted for our skill and comfort level and it was obvious that he cared about our safety and enjoyment. Bruno also is an incredible skier and gave us some great tips. We are good skiers (comfortable getting down most terrain), but not professionals. As a side note, we actually booked through another company that contracts out to Bruno for off-piste tours, but had we known that we could book him directly, we would have: adrenalinpowder.com. Lastly, I would not ski off-piste in Zermatt without a guide and without avalanche gear. Unlike U.S. ski resorts, where you assume that anything “in-bounds” is safe/controlled, Zermatt has lots of off-piste skiing right off of lifts/groomed trails that can be very risky if you don’t know what you’re doing. It is more similar to back country skiing in the U.S. You also just won’t find the best skiing without a guide - some of the entry and exit points we NEVER would have found without Bruno.
