I attended a 3 hr masterclass by Jean Christophe at the Grove Hotel as it was put on as part of a conference I was attending. We had a fantastic time. JC and his team were highly entertaining and helpful and after a demo off we went to attempt to recreate the dishes in teams of 8 (due to numbers). Everybody had a great time and it was commented on regularly during the conference what an experience it was. I highly recommend it as a corporate/team building event (or just if you fancy it as a personal event) and you will learn useful tips to take home.

See the local area by air as well as as gaining an appreciation of how aircraft fly. Who knows you may even bump into a TV or film celebrity. Lovely atmosphere to sit around and watch the aircraft coming and going. Trial flights start at £95 for 30 minutes.

The best thing I can say is that there was nothing to fault it. Basically it felt like the guy (Jo) was enjoying sharing his skills and enjoyment of metal working with you. His teaching manner was so relaxed and pleasant yet clear and instructive that you cant fail to have a wonderful day. I went with my daughter and came away tired but with our own made items that we are very proud of. His workshop was very atmospheric and very much a working environment. The venue had good parking but we were in low season. The only bit of advice is that don't expect much from the cafe (which has no link with Jo). Can't recommend this highly enough and Jo.
