Small humble place, but the experience is an absolute win! Away from the noise of the Plaza Mayor, served by Don Manuel the main chef owner and master mind, a fantastic experience with the Tacu Tacu with seafood and Jalea de Mariscos. If you want a good Peruvian experience come here.

The food is really good, service works well and prices are reasonable for the quality of the menu. Very authentic chef.

This is the spot for great food, relaxed atmosphere, and good drinks. We went in the afternoon, then my wife and friends went back the next day. There is a sandbox for children, blankets and pillows on the ground for small groups enjoying drinks, tables that are both indoor or outdoor and great food.I had the grilled lamb in white wine, and it was excellent. Use the rice to mop up the lamb drippings on your plate and it is just great. My wife had the grilled fish which was also great. The grilled veggies were cooked really well and very flavorful. They really paid attention to the proper cooking of the food, and taste. Drinks were good, and they had a unique beer not offered at other restaurants. We were even offered an herbal tea which had a marijuana leaf added to it (freshly picked from a nearby plant).Service was good, they were picking fresh oranges for something, and gave my son one which made him really happy. You won't regret it.Gracias por la reseñaFue un placer enorme atenderlos y los esperamos para una próxma

We went to happy monkey by chance and really enjoyed it. The food was amazing and something different as we've never had it before. We had the vegetarian plate and some starters. Definitely one of the best places we went to in VdL, highly recommend it!

Welcome to Kumina. The only place that reminds you of the Caribbean in Villa de Leyva. You will find fried food. Suero atollabuey (typical caribbean sour cream), natural juices and Kola Roman typical drinks of the Colombian Caribbean region, besides and e
I had to try the local dishes and because of the high ratings we went here. Itâs a really small restaurant with a few tables but nice decorated. It looked clean although just behind my girlfriend there were lots of spiderwebs in the corner. The friendly owner explained the menu and after we ordered the food was served within five minutes. Because we didnât see them cooking and only heard a microwave oven it must be prepared food and it tasted like that too. Guests after us who ordered the same became fresh prepared food so for us it was once and never again.

We are located in the left corner of the square (looking at the church). Our entrance is on the side of the square (off of 13th street) We are on the second floor. Complicated but worth it!
The evening we spent at this live music bar and restaurant was one of the most memorable of all our evenings in Colombia. The food was excellent, the music enchanting, the waitress spoke excellent English. We ordered many dishes and enjoyed them all! We spent a long evening here with beers, food, dessert, coffee.

Love for rustic, classic and simple kitchen. Traditional flavors and ancestral recipes. Specialty grill, grill, bbq, punta, mixed table, wines, cocktails, much more in drinks and meals for chopping.
Villa de Leyva is known for its good food and this restaurant for us was fantastic. Every meal we had here was perfectly cooked and beautifully flavoured. The service was amazing (and they had a lovely waitress who spoke fluent English which was a great help). The atmosphere is cosy but not cramped or pokey. They also had live music which was very cool. Overall we had a great experience here but the food was definitely a highlight. My husband was super happy that they had lamb on the menu, and it came perfectly cooked as did all of our steak meals.

This restaurant is set in a large patio. The food is Colombian. You choose a type of meat and then the carbs or salad to accompany it. The choices include various styles of steak, chicken and pork. The accompaniments include arepas, potatoes of various types and plantains. The deserts are generously proportioned, especially after such a large main course. Service is friendly and prices are moderate.

International food made with local products. Vegan options. The restaurant is inside a colonial patio of Hotel Plazuela de San Agustin, located in the Antonio Ricaurte square.
We came here because of a few mentions on TA about the great veggie burger. Well, that night they were out of veggie burgers. And meat burgers. I had the trout instead, which was very good. However, my dining partner's chicken was undercooked. On the plus side, the service was attentive and the restaurant has a very nice ambiance. Maybe it was an off night, but when you're travelling it's hard to make time to come back.Hello Bob,Sorry about the off night, in fact I think we have one of the best veggie burgers in Colombia. Hope you have a great time in Colombia. If you chance to came back I promise you would rate us with 5 stars.
