Stopped here from a bloggers recommendation for the 20 sole burrito. Split between me and my girlfriend and left us full and satisfied.Best attempt at a burrito I've had in Peru. The chicken, beans and guacamole were extremely tasty! Would love to be back there right now.Order at Surf and Turf window, then sit outside Green Eggs and Ham for a lovely view. All of the restaurants share space and don't mind where you order from.

We ate at all of the top restaurants here and this was our favorite. This is where the Peruvians eat, it is not a tourist joint. We ordered black oyster ceviche, fried Mero fish and lobster with the seafood salsa; all of these dishes were amazing. I feel confident saying that you could pick any dish and it would be fresh and tasty.

Cevicheria Jasusi

I had the picture that eating in Perú was a shure shot. Don't get me wrong, every meal I ate was at least OK, but I usually get better peruvian food in Santiago. My sample is not too big, I was not all over the country. I haven't been in Lima properly. But hey, if you put a feet in the ocean you are touching the ocean, ain't I? I got to Jasusi by a recomendation of green eggs and ham. how to get there? Just tell your mototaxi driver to get you there. A cheap 2 or 3 soles ride from pocitas. The usual bumpy, noisy, gas-aroma ride, but you'll be in a place that doesn't look too friendly. This is where mancorans breed and live, this is not disneyland for chrissake. The place... just 2 walls painted seafoam green with some branches and twigs as a roof/ceiling. plastic chairs, plastic eating surfaces, menus. I bet no one speaks english but it won't be too hard to make onself understood. The place is clean and so is the restroom.Ceviche is the thing here. It is seasoned brilliantly. Good size, fresh-fresh, tangy, balanced, and all the atributes a peruvian ceviche is. Way better than mancora's average, but also a beet steeper than mancora's average. Also some fried yuca (tapioca) to have a more balanced meal. Ceviche is just too healthy.I drank a couple of beers, greeted the efficient personnel and went back in the horizon to enjoy another day at the beach.

I do not recommend supporting this business: My partner and I specifically ate at this restaurant as we were leaving the country so did not have local currency and needed to pay by card. The restaurant had numerous MasterCard and Visa signs which had drawn us in. We were met by a friendly waiter who I specifically asked whether they accepted MasterCard as payment and after him confirming we agreed to be seated. The owner approached us and was at first very friendly, polite and I could tell he cared about his business. He turned out to be very aggressive, disingenuous and lacked any level of integrity and respect. At the conclusion of dinner my card did not work and he accused the fault being with my card. I used another card and again it did not work. I then asked if his machine had worked in the last week and he presented me with the nights food order dockets. I asked to see proof of an electronic receipt to which the best he could produce was a receipt from a month prior. He then demanded I go to an ATM to withdraw cash to pay for the dinner and refused to give my credit card back. I said I was happy to take this to the tourist police to which he became intensely confrontational and threatening. As we left for the station he then preceded to insult my partner for being with me and then made a big scene on the street claiming I was refusing to pay and again continued to aggressively yell at me right in front of my face. As we reached the tourist police he then spoke in Spanish saying I am a tourist and I don't know the rules of Peru and that I was refusing to pay and claimed I had been aggressive towards him. After explaining my side of the story and seeing the tourist police struggled to speak or understand English and were not going to do anything, and we had a bus to catch, I proceeded to withdraw cash from the ATM to pay for the dinner. There was no compromise for the 18 soles for the withdrawal fee and he continued to insult me to get out of his country in front of the tourist police as I withdrew the cash. An unfortunate and unpleasant end to what was a very nice week in Mancora where we had enjoyed numerous meals at various establishments. As far as the food was concerned, the standard was nothing above satisfactory and I wouldn't have eaten there again.

We ate twice here and will come again. We had lunch menu including starter for 15 soles. The food was great, especially cebiches, pasta with seafood, and rice with seafood. The rice was a bit too salty but very good. The presentation was nice, although we would prefer if the plates weren't decorated with coloured sugar syrup which doesn't go with the food at all. The owner is a nice chap and the place is not far from the beach, which is great.

I don't think I could go wrong with any place in Mancora with delicious pisco sours and ceviche. Los Delfines was a typical Peruvian coastal restaurant with fresh fish and seafood. I was not disappointed with the food, service or environment. It was located right across from the beach so I could not miss. I would recommend it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality level of the food. Go try the seared tuna with crispy bacon bits and mashed potatoes, and the fascinating dessert Pachamama "mother earth" (see photo, hard to describe but great)! Also liked the tasty chorizo sandwich and the great hamburger sandwich. Friendly and helpful staff, good cocktails, prices ok. Go try it!

We ate dinner here. Carpaccio of beef was excellent, lomo saltado was also good, the pasta was rather unsuccessful as it was far too rich. Drinks are fairly expensive but not exorbitantly so. Very stylish hotel (check out the loos!). Definitely worth a visit but a bit out of the way for us. Overall bill for two was around 340 soles or £75 for pre-dinner drinks, one shared starter, two main courses and one bottle of wine.
