Let start by saying the hostess found us a table on a busy Sunday morning. The service was spot on. The ambiance was vintage Mexican circa 1950âs. The food was authentic and traditional. The green spicy sauce on the chilaquiles can be used in a kajillion ways you can pour over burritos, tacos, eggsâreally anything. It was that good. The tamale was a Oaxacan recipe made in a large banana leaf enough for two people. The masa was light and tasty. Our meal was 32 all in including tip. All in all, I suggest to stop by.

The restaurant is located 10 minutes from the Guadalajara airport on the west side of the highway, specializing in birria, and traditional meat and broth dish from the state of Jalisco.
I have been to BirrierÃa El Chololo multiple times as birria is one of my favorite dishes. This restaurant is located on the highway that connects Guadalajara to Chapala and it is a huge restaurant where all the waiters are very friendly and quick! It's a very Mexican restaurant and if you visit Guadalajara, this is a great restaurant to eat this dish very popular in Jalisco: birria.

Just headed down for a quick bite after reading the recommendations and the positive feedback is very much deserved. The food is delicious and although there is a waiting line, it moves pretty quickly. Very affordable too. There is a self serving buffet for salad items and salsa to add to the tacos you pick up at the front.

We went there by coincidence and were surprised by the great quality of the food. We had arrachera con queso and it was delicious! The menu was very simple though, we missed some guacamole or frijoles refritos. However, we highly recommend it because the meat was very tasty and had zero fat.

Mexican Food
This small, casual restaurant is making excellent food. Much care goes into the sauces and salsas. Their version of tortilla soup is distinctly theirs. The rellenos are beautiful and gooey (and best to be shared since they are rich). Smart, fun and friendly staff. I wish I lived on this block, Iâd be here all of the time. I wish I could eat my way through the concise menu.

Known for their huge selection of tequila, and the food is excellent as well. A particular standout is the Chile en Nogada, made with 37 different ingredients. ¡Great for business and family!
We were taken here by business partners who ensured us this was authentic, and very good Mexican food. Food and service was excellent, and not the heavy Mexican food that Americans think of (like refried beans). Atmosphere was interesting, clean and a bit upscale. I would definitely return.

We were referred to this restaurant by our hotel. The food was as you would expect of Mexican food and was just ok. We had about 4 or 5 different servers so it was confusing but we did get all of our orders. Portions were small (think of tapas) ... I ordered tacos and there were 3 very small ones. So ask your server about sizes of the plates; prices were reasonable so you can just order a couple and it would be fine. It was a very large restaurant and a bit dark. Music/show starts at 9:30 so plan your visit accordingly. If only for the food, I would not go back. Thanks for your words and recomendation, we will put special attention in this things!

Very creative food with delicious flavors and perfect execution. Amazing cocktails in a beautiful place. I enjoyed every second of my visit here. It was my birthday and this restaurant was ideal for the celebration. Iâll come back soon. MX$1,500 for a full dinner with drinks (for two).

atmosphere is nice, place is different as construction was not made specific for restaurant, they adapt a place that previously existed and used to be a place where you need to reserve in order to be able to get a table, not sure if it still, took visitors from other countries and they liked it very much

Brick SteakHouse is one of the best culinary experiences Iâve had in Guadalajara. The design of the place makes for a comfortable, yet sophisticated ambience. The service was not only friendly and helpful but they were attentive to our needs. The quality of the food was superb. Our Porterhouse was cooked to perfection and the sides were flavourful. The desserts were second to none. We had the cornbread with dulce de leche and the cassoulet of berries and chocolate, amazing. Also, they have a great selection of local, artisanal beers as well as great wine list which is well priced. This place is a must.
